At the start of the game Diego is telling you the way to get lots of cash! ;)

The way I go about it is as follows:

1) Use early LP to reach 70 Thieving skill and get the "Bargain" option
2) Use early LP to get the appropriate Hunting skills for skinning and removing claws and teeth

Then, collect everything! Collect every single herb you see. Pick up every single rusty sword you come across. Plunder every orc you kill and don't forget to pick up their weapons (do you pick up the goblins' cudgels?).

Kill all the animals you come across: Deers, bisons, wolves, lurkers, etc...

A tooth is worth 33 GP!

Believe me, if you follow this system, you won't need to use your VISA card to buy the paladin's armor :D

3)Save.
4)Reload: everyone will have back their weapons.
5) return to 2).
When you'll be tired you'll have lot of croosbows (each worth up to 6000 )to sell and gain money with.

but better way to make money is to sell all the loot from libreting cities

i got like 50k onlly from cape dun or reddok

and if you dont want to kill every one just steal all the items in the cities

A very easy way to make money without cheating is making bastard swords, and selling them.

BTW: What do u need the money for? Since u say u r to far in the game to make money with animals, i guess u already have a good weapon and armor.

before u can buy the paladin armor, u need a reputation of 50 at the rebells.
If u dont have it, solve the quests until u have, by then u should have collected enough to buy it.

BTW: Level 26 and too far to earn money with animals? I dont think so. Im 65 now, and still find A LOT to hunt.

I'm level 70-something and still hunting :) There are hours and hours and hours of gameplay left. And learning points. There is more than enough of them to learn every skill and spell there is and still boost your attributes.

get a job with jowood.actually , yes; liberating and selling weapons and other items or making and selling swords.if you can do vengard,. there is a lot of orcs with good money making weapons .with liberating myrtana; it's best to wait until later in the game when it becomes a quest.then you can liberate cities and they won't attack when you go to the others.i have liberated all except silden and i still can go there without being attacked.vengard and a couple others don't affect the game too much in the beginning though.

For easy and dangerous cash,go in the cave under Cape Dun and kill everything,including the dragons.Then,near the dragons are giant bundles of cash ! *KACHING !* (don't forget to take the ogre morningstars and everything else)
Or for more safe earnings,go and make liberation missions,loot everything,and then sell it.Make sure you know how to bargain for good prices.

Another way to get "easy" cash is to kill the rangers protecting the druids. They each carry a bow worth in excess of 6000 GP.

Well, I think smithing is not the worst way, how to make some cash. Self forged plus sharpened Bastard sword is worth 4800 gold coins. You just have to learn prospector skill and then go to Okara or another place, where some iron veins could be found. At the moment I've made at least 10 swords of this kind. 10*4800=48000 GP, and that's a god damn hudge amount of money.

gothic3 merch have low amout of money

There is no good thing to spend your money fore, cant buy a house or a horse or a castle, so whay need gold. Personally, I needed 150000 GP to purchase the paladin armor - that's a lot of cash!

Useful blueprints for top weapons are expensive -several thousands of GP.

Not to mention several thousands of GP to acquire an artifact kept by an orc boss...

You're right, there is plenty of money to collect, and you might well finish the game with a sizeable loot. But, at the beginning of the game, money is scarce and you do have to manage it carefully.

And, if you read the other threads in this forum, you'll notice that many players are havng genuine problems with a lack of money.

The fact that you managed to stash so much is a tribute to your ability to trade. As for "hookers", I agree! The female slaves that you can purchase in Varant are far too cheap! :D (see Murat Oasis)

As far as I'm cocncerned, you can't even have a sex with them as it was in G2 and G2 NotR and that's a pretty crapy thing you know. :D

Well you need cash only to purchase the adanos artefact from the orc leader in trelis and for the two slave bitches in the murat oasis and that is it, for all the other stuff you can trade your loot. It is no big of a problem to purchase a paladin armor with your rusty swords or other worthles junk in your inventory.:D
