Returning 2.0: How to use insert codes?

I accidentally opened Gerbrand's sealed letter to the assassin -and now I can't complete the quest.
I don't have a save game old enough to avoid opening it.

I found the item code for the letter: itwr_gerbrandseclet

But I don't know how to enable the console to put in the insert command...
typing: B --> marvin doesn't work anymore...

Can anyone help?

bmarvinb should generally be the shortcut. b is the key, that opens your character screen. If you have reassigned it, try the new key.
Open the console with F2 and enter: "insert your_insert_code"

Yiu have to press the "pause" button, right next to the print buttion. Hit the pause button till you enter the pause mode, which you will recongnize on the left side will stand the text "pause", then type marvin, then hit the "ESC" button to leave the pause mode.
Open the menu with F2.
After you finished the cheating again hit pause, type "42", then again use the esc button.
Dont play with active marvin mode and don´t use certain thinks like "o" button, F8 or other things because the game will "dismiss" you.

The problem with that discussion link is that its not in english...

I guess there is none in english, but you can write and ask questions in english as well and most people will answer in english.
