Bring Nemrok the artifact from the ruin in the north?

I got a quest called "Bring Nemrok the artifact from the ruin in the north" in Geldern. Finding this ruin in question is hopeless to me -- I can't think of a single place where I haven't looked. Where is this crag to the north of Geldern? Is it anywhere near the woif mine?

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Yes, the fact that there's supposed to be a ruin north of a place called Geldern must have ruined the storyline for you. If you didn't understand that this was about something in-game by reading the topic, you deserved to be "spoiled".

really simple.
leave geldern on the way to silden. in silden follow the river to the north until you see a mountain on the left(attention, trolls) . up the mountain there is the ruin, guarded by 4 schattenläufern(sorry, dont know the word in english ;)).
