First, it's called "Gothic" , second, i don't see the problem, the faces and voice was changed to look more real, imagine playing G3 with the exact faces from G2 :D , it ain't a reason to trow away the game for this.

And btw, nobody can start playing gothic at level 0, you start from level 1...

the engine its difrence, so the faces changed! thats totaly normal!

Man they could have made the faces look loosly the same with this engine but as I said before they are more mature so we would relate more to them.
In the prequels the faces were more cartoony cause the engine gouldn't handle it.

I've passionately waited a year for Gothic 3, but now, after hearing about all the bad things in the game, my heart has sunk so low that I'm not even excited about picking it up at the mail next week. :(

The name of the actor who's voice is used as the main character in Gothic 3 is Crispin Freeman, as was said in one of the earlier interviews or previews. Not sure.

Elkston I have excatly same kinds of feelings here. Imo in general voice acting is a lot better than in g2. I was slightly suspicious first, but after a while I found it very good :). In particular Diego's new voice is a welcome change. :D

I've read that many people actually like the new voices, but it takes time to get familiar with them. I dont think the Nameless' new voice will be very different from the previous Gothic games. The voice actor sounded rather identical to the others in G1 and G2, imo. (checked his website)
