Well, that test-version is not the english-diccuric-version,... the english beta2-patch is on the teams page for download,... but i don't link it because i didn't get managed to start it, an error kicks me out of the game.

Well that's why it is called beta and probably that's why it is not hosted on wog(well...i can't find it) ;)

With the help of Moe i found what was wrong,... the beta2-translation-patch works only for the diccuric 1.1d, but i downloaded the full installation for diccuric 1.1e.

That's right.

We are looking for a native English speaker to fix up our translation. Our translator (yeah, only one is left) is not a native speaker and he is unsure, if he spelled things right, used the correct words etc. In our development team of Ragnarok, we have also no native English speaking guy (actually, only German ones), so if there is somebody out there, who wants to help: you are welcome, just contact me.

I hope, that I can create a current alpha of the translation for patch 1.1e these days, as I promised at our site a while ago. Be sure, that I was NOT to lazy to add the current patch (1.1e) to the English homepage of us. I did not add it yet, because I know, that 1.1e is not compatible with the English beta translation (technical issues).

It is a bad idea. Why?
Well, I know about that thread - I started it. That was my last try to get enough people for our English translation. At first, we had a lot of people who wanted to help. About two weaks after we started the new try of translation, nearly everybody disappeared besided of one single person. He agreed to finish the translation himself, but he wants a native speaker to fix up his mistakes. So I am looking for a motivated script editor, not a crowd, that disappears again. You can imagine, that everybody disappeared without saying a word - and eXecutioner, you were one of those guys. So please understand, that I will not agree to anybody of the last team to help us again. Everybody apart from Ondo (the translator who is still active) showed, that they are not capable to work in a team. I did not get a single mail until today, where somebody tells me, that he stops to help us...

Yes, I quitted, but I had good reasons. I had to studdy for my driving exam and now I am undergoing preparations to go to the UK in a visit.

And I think I sent you some translations via e-mail or ICQ (I don't remember wich) and also told you on ICQ (I believe) that I'm quitting. If not, sorry about that as I simply forgot and tought that I did.

I don't know if I can work in a team but I have, and had a lot of Gothic related work. I help RoiDanton find errors in the english Gothic databases, I translated some of the important articles on the german part of WoG into english etc.

Maby you have the right to judge me, maby not. I'm not arguing about this. :)
