New Music&Gothic

Hi,
I would like to include a new music into Gothic but as for now I couldn't do it propertly ;)
So maybe someone can help me...
- what kinde of program is the best to make this music;
- what kind of format is needed;
- and music file properties;
- how include this new music into Gothic;
- and I think that's all :D
