Lares bug

OK, so this is the 2nd time I`m playing NotR from the beginning. All fine. I joined the 'Ring' and now I wanted to go take the ornament with Lares.
I knew this is a known bug, so I tried to insert him, in different locations, but the game always crashed.

Any suggestions? Also, please link me to the latest patch (if it`s not in the Downloads section) and tell me if the savegames work after applying it.

Yes, ZOMFG is not a title for a thread, and it's annyoing, i really recommend you to use "normal" english.

Maybe i was confused because you mentioned it's the "well known" Lares bug,... and that can be solved by

and now I wanted to go take the ornament with Lares.
Did you talked to Saturas, Nefarius so that you already have the quest for searching the other ornament pieces?
Please describe a little more detailed what you already have done, what point at the game you are.

(The official Patch, don't needed for the english AddOn, because it's already patched to version 2.7).

Well, I just joined the 'Ring' and received the quest of meeting the other Water Mages. Lares has got the ornament I have him in the beginning, and now I`m supposed to go with him and deliver it to the Mages. I`ve never been there yet.
I don`t have the "Let`s go" convo option, so that`s why I thought it`s the well known Lares bug.

Err...I think it`s version 2.7.0.1. :p

EDIT: I tried the script patch and it says "this patch is not for version..." bla bla bla... It`s `cause of the version, right? o_O

Yeah, he don't come with you, that is the problem, you have to get the ornament-piece from him and deliver it on your own to the watermages. In order to get it into your inventory, type:

It's even not for the english version, any english version (afaik).

Yeah, he don't come with you, that is the problem, you have to get the ornament-piece from him and deliver it on your own to the watermages. In order to get it into your inventory, type:

The bug is that you cannot go on with the game when you don't have that ornament-piece, now you have it, so you can go on with the game -> problem (bug) solved, no need for starting all over again.

Normally he should, sorry, but that's all i can say,... but even if he don't come with you for that other ornament-piece you can get it on your own.

The bug is that Lares don't go with you to the watermages, but he should. This situation makes that you cannot go on in the game-story. To solve it you can enter that

This places the ornament-piece in your inventory, with it you can go to the watermages and can continue in the story.

Since Lares won`t go with me in the thick woods, but just tell me about that, I`m in some sh*t of no coming back.

Nope, I passed this part easily the first time I played through NotR...but with Lares`s help that I`ll have to forget now.
