[G2] (Release) "Aus dem Leben eines Diebes" / "Tales about a thief"

Hello guys!

Our german Modteam "Team K" had released a new modification for Gothic II named "Aus dem Leben eines Diebes" ("Tales about a thief"). At the moment it is only available in german, but maybe we find some guys, who would like to translate it at least into english.
At this point - sorry for spelling and grammar mistaks. I've tried my best.

Story:


A young man was was trained to a thief by a secret society.To prove his abilities, he must pass a test in a small village on the outskirts of the empire. On board the vessel, that should take him to the village, he is still very confident, that he will pass the test, but then everything changes! The young thief need to do the quest alone in an unknown environment.
You guessed it: You are the thief!


Features:


- complete new map
- 12 hours playing time
- New monsters (partial completly new monsters like dangerous crabs)
- Over 7000 synchronized lines froms a high-quality voice output (G1 had 7500 lines!)
- New weapons, armors (also helmets), and other Items (like chocolates
- Many innovative quests with different solution options ....and the resulting consequences
- NPCs with real personalities
- Real Smalltalks between the NPCs
- You can dive with the fishes and catch them (fishing)
- new, other scriptfeatures like different loadingscreens, different kinds of arrows
- a hugh number of new objects in the world

Here are three different mirrors for downloading the installer. The installer puts the .mod file automatically into the folder Gothic2\data\modvdf :)
If the file after installing is missing, try it again and if this doesn't work AND the directory modvdf in Gothic2\data does not exisist please create this directory and try to install again. ;)
