The first episode was cool, but it's like 10% of how cool the anime will be starting from episode 18 I think. You have no idea... :D

I adore Prince of Tennis. I don't know why, but the series is really good.

Then FMA is also great and trigun is fuckin' good.

btw: how legal is it to load the animes?

As for your question... here is what a mod from POP Forum said:


All downloads of fansubs are illegal unless you legally own the original Japanese version of the show and use the fansubs to better understand what is being said.

It's not like someone will come to your house and ask you to show them the Japanese Version, if you understand what I mean. :D

As for Bleach, don't worry about it. It's legal to post links to that anime. I am sure of that.

PoT is an Anime who was shown the last few months in Japan. when you are seeking for it on google you find soon a torrent site with some files about it. And after the first few episodes it is worth watching it. Genious.

I don't know most of the names of the different titles or storytellers. Sorry I don't follow it all that much. I have seen some very good artwork, and very compelling stories, but sadly for me it's been few and far between. Most anime I see I don't like, (for many of the same reasons that Naked_Lunch mentioned) but I'm always willing to give something I haven't seen a chance based on the few good experiences I have had with anime.

@Gor_Na_Drak: If you really want to see an anime with a great story then watch Bleach. It's really great. I couldn't stop watching. I watched almost 70 episodes in 2 days. Yeah, I know... I'm crazy...:p

@GodZeys: Everyone is entitled to an opinion. I do like cartoons. Hell, I still watch some of them. But animes are special. They have amazing stories... something that I appreciate.
There are some episode where you can't stop laughing, but there are some that make you cry. They are better then many movies out there.
And most of the animes that I have watched weren't for kids.

No... I've watched many animes... but Bleach[i] and [i]Naruto I've started watching recently. I've been watching animes since I was 7 or 8 years old.

@Onisuzume: I only saw Elfen Lied. The first episode was rather shocking because I wasn't used to watch an anime with so much blood and gore. Anyway, I wanted to stop watching a few times. It was too much... but I managed to see them all. I wanted to see how it ends.

My number one anime is Elfen Lied. It is second thing, which flew me in anime world(first was Tenjou Tenge). I was shocked as I was watching it. But it is an anime, which I'll remember for a very long time. It's a very heavy anime and after I was in sort of depression(though I liked it). So next day I've had to watch something. And it was Bleach ! My bad mood totally wore off. I don't think Bleach is violent. It can be watched without any fears since 13 years(it's sort of advice to parents). Dunno about Berserk - I've never watched it, and don't intend to in near future.

Oh and I very liked Green Green - best comedy&romance mix ever !

Elfen Lied is a very good anime! I loved it!!

Eureka Seven is good too..the beggining is quite boring but after a few episodes it became very exciting!

The naruto fillers episodes suck... the bleach fillers episodes suck a bit less then naruto's (sorry but i don't like them..)

The story was great indeed, but like I said, too much violence.
But you're right about Bleach. There are some really cool episodes. Especially the one when Lon appears. There are also some sad episodes... especially when Byakuya and Renji come to take, well, you know who.

@Emad: I can't say that the Naruto fillers suck. Some of them are really funny. But anyway, lets hope that they will end soon. And I saw the first few episodes of School Rumble. Really funny. If you want to see another funnt anime, watch Fruit Basket. I couldn't stop laughing.

@rekinu: Yeah, I know. I was just saying that in the anime, it was Gaara. Don't even remind me of that fight... it was like... the saddest scene ever :(. Every time I watch it I feel like crying :(.

But do you remember episode 101 with Kakashi's face? I've never seen Sasuke acting so... weird. §rofl

Khaled, I watched Sailor Moon too when I was little, but I don't know the storyline either. I just know they used to save the world... there wore some girls, I think 5, they transformed into super heros and something like that :p

@Deadly: Me too! I saw Sailor Moon as well. But that was more than 8 years ago. I was 10 when I saw it... I think. And I actually thought that Sailor Moon was the best anime... till february this year, when I started watching animes again. Sailor Moon is not even on my list nowdays. There are so many cool animes out there...

@Khaled: I saw Sailor Moon on Italia 4. And I did understand the anime... that's cause for some reason, italian was easy to understand... way too easy imo.

You know... the voice actor for Kadaj in FFVII AC also lends his voice to my second favorite character from Naruto... and that character is Shikamaru. And the voice actor for Sephiroth is also the voice actors for Kimimaru... in Naruto of course.

Well Dragon Ball (the first serie-the old one) is older than naruto, and I think it has a good story too. About Shikamaru, that guy it's so damn funny, I like him too....so troublesome -_-
I just watched ep 177 yesterday and there was a funny scene I liked alot:
when naruto and jiraya wore following the boat of that curier ninja and jiraya was using rasengan to make the boat move, naruto said with a sad face: It seems like Rasengan is becoming some kind of cheap technique...§rofl
anyway I find the fillers funny but somehow to many :rolleyes:

Why couldn't those meddling kids die to Burori? (Then again, Burori *is* the psycho.)

@rekinu: I know that DB is older than Naruto. The first serie was released in 1986. Shikamaru is my second favorite character... Naruto is no. 1...
LOL... I know that episode :D. I watched it twice. I loved that part as well... and the ending of course... I couldn't stop laughing. I still wonder what the hell did Naruto write.
You know from where to get Bleach, right? And trust me... you will LOVE it.
btw, there are some rumors about Naruto fillers ending with episode 200. Lets hope they are true. I can't wait to see the new serie. I know what will happen in the first 50 episodes of so, but I still can't wait. I couldn't help it... I had to read the Manga. :D

No, I don't. Animes and Mangas are one of my life's passions. :p I love watching them and I'll never get bored of it. ^____^ Just recently I found a really cute anime Tokyo Mew Mew and I can't help myself but watch certain parts over and over again, and they're cuter every time I watch them again. :D

Well, first of all: Anime are generally higher quality (at least graphically) than disney cartoons. If you need an example; take a look at the first Rurouni Kenshin movie. (A requiem for patriots iirc) That has one of the best graphics of any cartoons I've ever seen.
This one (http://www.animegalleries.net/img/10411) for example, is superbly drawn, pity that the lighting isn't favourable.
While disney cartoons are rather crude in colour, shape and detail. Not to mention that their music isn't as good as that of most anime.
The story is mostly what ever the viewer prefers, which can vary greatly.

§dito...it's totally ruined. I mean romanian children could have learned alot of English just watching those cartoons. And the new cartoons...yes they are awfull. You don't get many chances to laugh at them. And they are somehow teaching the children to destroy...to act like those characters. I am very disappointed about this. Now I watch only Scooby-Doo,Ed,Edd n' Eddy and of course teh great Tom&Jerry when I have the chance and some time ago I managed to see an episode of Hong-Kong Phooey :D

The Greek voices are incredible IMO better than the english ones (of course there are always exeptions) ;)

Which is sometimes subtitled as wandering samurai.
And he's a Battōsai, or sword drawing master/master at drawing the sword.

Other namings he's been given in english are, but not limited to: Brolli, Brolly, Broli, Broly and Tara. (don't ask me how they came to that)

Japanese subtitles usually call him "Broli" though in the japanese movies you can clearly hear the characters say "Burori". (Krillin in movie 8 especially, when he tells that to Mr. Roshi who mistook him for Broccoli)

The wording you used suggested that you mistook him for the one from the legend that bejito tells in the saiyan saga or furiiza saga. (not sure when)

But yeah, he would be the first recent saiyan to be a super saiya-jin when looking at the series; he would've been one when they were still in the middle of the original series. (when the word "saiya-jin" wasn't even invented)

Yeah, both Harima and Hanai are likable kids. School Rumble is one of the animes about campus life that I find unique. If you like this sort of anime, you may feel like to check out "Azumanga Daioh (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=huWKSYUX5Fs)" and "Lucky Star (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdERUrLvIW4)". They are both animes about funny thing in normal school days.

Yet, I'm suprised that nobody here mention about "One Piece (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YcpQMgNXfJ0)", it's the real classic in my opinion.

Actually; at least in Japan, they refer to anime as all cartoons&stuff.
While in america they use anime to refer to cartoons which (mostly) come from Japan.

oh and DBGT is pretty boring till the final fight with Omega Shenron. I really love how Goku and Vegeta say FU-SION-HAAAAA :D and then when they try again the 2nd time Goku becomes a kid again :D:D:D

"No Naruto, this is my way, you can't stop me!" *some horrible flash back which continues like 15 minutes* "Oh yeah?? I swore to Sakura I'll bring you back! BLALBLABLA! Sasuke come back to the leaf village!" "No Naruto! I will get that power! This is my way and you can't stop me" *episode's over* and so on till they finally faced chidori-to-rasengan and nobody won. then naruto faints for some reason and sasuke doesn't kill him:rolleyes:

@Elfen Lied; granted, there was some suggestion at a few occations, though no actual sex in it. As for the violence; the manga is even worse at that aspect. Lucy is even more sadistic in there and has 8 vectors instead of the anime's 4. (She actually enjoyed the scene where those boys killed that dog before killing those kids :eek:)

It also more or less mocks racism&stuff. Or shows an example of what could happen if it escalates.

And like I said; its seinen, not the shounen stuff you're used to.

@Hellsing; quite different, for the series.
The OVA (Hellsing Ultimate) follows it more closely; with in the first part only two real exceptions: Seras' dread, and her welcome by Integra, Walter and Alucard. Episode two has some extra fight scenes (filler), with the last two chapters missing. (but seen as images during the credits) Episodes three&four: not sure...

As for Rozen Maiden; it has some dark themes in it as well, but not as much as Elfen Lied.

Seinen = grown men's anime/manga. (not because of nudity btw)
Shoujo = girl's anime/manga.
Josei = grown women's anime/manga.
Then there's also a thing known as Kodomo which is for kiddies.

The contents of which vary per catagory.
Sailer Moon is a typical example of an Shoujo.
While Naruto is a typical example of a Shounen.
Hellsing is more or less a typical example of a Seinen.
Whilst Honey and Clover is an example of a Josei.

PS. Jin-Roh/Kerberos Saga is also kinda good. Another Seinen iirc.

yes but the flashbacks are annoying. and when sasuke and naruto faced off n the something of something(forgot it's name) you know, they fight between two huge statues of two dudes doing the jutsu fingers? yeah whatever you know what I mean. it was like a punch or two, and then sasuke starts complaining and stuff, then naruto starts talking like a preacher then sasuke is complaining again during some flashback scene where itachi kills like, every1, then the same thing being repeated till they finally attacked each other with the rasengan and the chidori. that was the best part of it. but in general, naruto is a good anime. but I like DBZ more. and I will watch Shippuuden(or whatever it's spelled like) cuz it looks good. I mean, the akatsuki, naruto being a kick-ass, rock-lee(my favorite good guy) being a guy wearing a green vest(like shikamaru. I forgot the names of those too :D) some other crazy stuff...

You forget that Naruto wasn't made in one day, you might have watched the episodes in a row cuz you have them all evailable but it's not like that if you keep up with it. I mean the flashbacks are kinda necessary, why? well not everyone watched the whole series in a month or two but years, remember there are more than 200 episodes ;)

yes, I know. when I first started to watch naruto I was completely mad. I used to watch 10 episodes a day for the first 3 days. Then, I started watching 5 a day. after 3 more days I started watching 1-3 episodes a day. you know why? because of the flashbacks and the completely useless scenes which are there to just annoy you. Like those episodes with the race :rolleyes: why in hell's name would naruto sasuke and sakura protect some random guy who is like, the biggest asshole of all times for like 5 episodes? Now the episodes where orochimaru attacks the leaf village are the best IMO. and the gunin(or whatever) "saga" is the best one in naruto. and then what's up with sasuke's form in the 2nd state :rolleyes: but I still like Naruto. well except for some stupid boring parts. my personal favorite episode is 100(or was it 101?) - "Kakashi sensei's true face" or something like that. I was like §xlol all the time :D ^^

I started watching Full Metal Alchemist. all I can say is: AWESOME!!!(don't you mean, EXCELLENT!) I like it more than Naruto for 1 reason: it hasn't got all those annoying flashbacks and naruto preaching the others what's right and wrong things.

Ah, well actually it remains to be seen WHEN he will die cuz I know Kishi's style and yes Kakashi WILL die next chapter, wich comes in...3 days.:D I just feel it. Right now he just kills a Pein body with mangekyo and that's all he's got. He sayd himself he'll die. BTW his annoying flashbacks with Rin and Obito started and already sees himself in the realm of the dead with his dad. :)
Oh and Naruto is Overpowered. The stupid inevitable happened...And I wonder who will be the last bad guy in the series. I think they'll milk the Orochimaru-Kabuto (yeah they kinda fused :|)monster for months before finally ending. >.>

Lol no, Bleach has to do with swords and a couple of spells and all but there are two major defferences..
1st: Story, the story is way more "childish" than Naruto's.
2nd: Fights, the fights are like "main char fights with all he's got, gets beat up like hell and suddenly he reveals his hidden power and kicks the bad guy's ass or he has revealed all his hidden powers but can't beat the bad guy and when the bad guy is about to finish him off another guy stronger gets in the middle and kicks his ass" that's how it always happens, :rolleyes: while in Naruto the fights contain lots more wisdom and planning and it's not always about "the stronger guy wins" also they don't last for 10 episodes each ;)
As for the characters, I like both the same.

Anyways, don't let my criticism blind you, Bleach is an excelent anime, 2nd fav after Naruto for me and it certainly worths watching, it's not waste of time ;)

^Ah, so I see. Looks like the rumors I heard about Bleach were fake. And about the fights... seems like they're taken from a typical USA action movie/cartoon.:rolleyes: you know, the heroes are almost dead and all the sudden they become immortal.

@Mike: You haven't even watched InuYasha, and Naruto is nothing like InuYasha.
Bleach is not inferior to Naruto, they are both equally good. Some prefer Naruto and some prefer Bleach, but the fact is that both are awesome animes worth watching.

@Dino: Bleach is NOT a copy of Naruto. I watched Bleach first and then Naruto and I must say it took a lot of people to convince me to even watch Naruto. Don't listen to Mike when he says that Bleach is bad, because in some ways, Bleach is better than Naruto. So my advice is to give this anime a chance and I am sure you won't regret it. But if you do decide to watch it, believe me, after episode 20 or so you won't be able to stop watching it. ^.^

Yes, I didn't say InuYasha is bad, actually I love that anime, I even read the Manga. The anime ends at about 2/3 of the Manga so if you wanna know how it ends, you gotta read the Manga, which has an awesome ending. ^.^
Well, time to go back watching YuYu Hakusho, I mean rewatching. :D
