Selling swampweed to Fortuno

Can anyone please tell me whether there is a limit to the amount of swampweed that Fortuno will buy after the solution of the quest mental meanders? At this point I've got around 120 stalks in my inventory but could roll much more if the amount is unlimited.

You can sell him all swampweed you will find. So there is no limit.

Only for a main quest in the 3rd chapter in Khorinis it's worthwile to retain 3 stalks.

Thanks anyway. I'm still in chapter 2 though and have not yet been to the valley of mines so im not going to pay 5LP for the bloodfly secretion.

i think you can buy few bloodflies stings from merchants in bandits camp in Jharkendar, or even find one somewhere in a swamp, but to get secretion of it - it is necessary to do some things in vom..

there is no need to pay 5LP for the secretion. you can learn that ability for free by reading a book you find in the castle from the valley of mines, book which can be found in the room that leads to the supply store of the castle. i think it used to be Bartholo's room in gothic 1, it's next to gomez's room.

also this secretion is very helpful when you need to quickly restore full hp, you just eat one sting and you're full hp, no more healing potions crap and no more healing spells which is pretty handy since bloodflies are commonly found in khorinis and in valley of mines.

i never used it more than 4-5 times so i don't go into details with the max amount of uses, but it's very helpful when you have a high level and much hp and need to heal fast. i mostly saved it for irdorath island.

I know about the valley of mines. That's why i said that i wasn't willing to spend thet much learning points.

I will leave the quest open and come back in ch 3 with all possible lab water bottles and swapweed plants and make as much as possible refers and finally sell to fortuno once i complete the quest.

the original question about swampweed for Fortuno.

you do not sell processed weed,you sell him swamp weed plants,so therefore you are limited to the number of plants in the game.
