location of gothic 3 saved files?

hey, i recently bought a new computer that is much more capable of running gothic 3. I have already played it quite a bit on my old comp, and was wondering if you can transfer saved games from one comp to the other. please help.

The location depends on your operating system:

Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\[Name]\My Documents\Gothic3

Windows Vista/Windows 7:
C:\Users\[Name]\Documents\Gothic3

Your path for XP is incorrect, the right path for the Windows 2000/XP/2003 Server should be:
C:\Documents and Settings\[Name]\[Documents]\Gothic3

Important notes:
1. [Documents] value depends from the OS language, for example:
My Documents for the English OS;
Мои Документы for the Russian OS.
2. Gothic3 should be without space before "3".

I'm glad to help you. Can you show me how this path looks in a German Windows XP? I have a suspicion that "Documents and Settings" may vary too.

It's named "Dokumente und Einstellung" what means the same as "Documents and Settings". I haven't expected that the settings-part is also included in the English name.

I've installed G3 on Windows7; there is no Saves folder in My Documents at all. When I'm exiting the game, all saves are disappearing:-((( I've tried different G3 discs with different patches - nothing changes. Help pls
