2HD weapons in gothic 1??

where can i find 2hd weapons in gothic 1 (chapter 1,2,3)?
1 more quastion , when Baal Namib will give me a high novices armor?

You can get this armor after you have killed the Minecrawlerqueen. But I am not sure whether this is right.

1st question: I`m not really sure, however, I don`t think you can FIND them. Try the merchants (and that smith in the Swamp Camp).

The only 2HD weapons you can get are those you get by beating up templars,and I also want to know how to get the heavy novice armor..

Are you sure? `Cause I remember buying from him, even though I never passed chapter 5 o_0

You can check these merchants in chapter 4 for (but only some) 2-handed weapons:

Darrion

Scorpio

BTW.: Orc-weapons are two-handed too! ;)

You can find three 2H weapons in the chests near the smith, in the castle yard, I don't remember his name. You can lockpick the 2 chests, he has no objection :D

I dont think that you can get the high novice armor because after you beat the minecrawler queen they upgrade you to templar

Maybe some people didn't reach level 10,to get to templars.So they need armor for exp hunting :D

Also, in the storage room underneath the castle (needs a key) you can find a two handed sword, another sword can also be found in the orc city's prison.
Then ofcourse there's Uriziel...
Can't think up of others..
But if you think you're strong enough and need a better weapon: go to the new camp and beat up lares&co. (It can be done in chapter 1, just like maxing strength)

From my experience Baal Namib will never sell you the armor. Once you kill the minecrawler queen, you can already join the templars and light templars armor is availible, offering more protection.

Yes he will. You just have to remain a novice until chapter 3. He will sell it to you at the beginning of chapter 3. Not that is does you any good. I played all of chapter 3 in heavy novice armor one time without becoming a Templer just to see if I could become a Guru in chapter 4 but no dice. (remember when Lester tells you that you have to wait longer to become a Guru? That's what I was hoping for. This was before I knew you couldn't become one) It's just better to become a Templer in chapter 2 then move on.
