Indeed:D Let us breath some life in this second one!

Oh, and a small request... please let us not talk about calin any more... I had too much of him and I am sure he is stalking the forum right now interpreting our posts as a sign that he is being missed... let him be forsaken.

Am I the only one who thinks that the Risen 2 website is just not as fast as it should be? I've had more complex sites opening in half the time.

Yeah.

Anyway, moved to a new place and finally got my own damn internet. 5 euros a month for 18 mb/s. I'd say that is a fair deal :p
Besides... I was tired of using some other people's wifi... it was too slow and too unstable. But all I have is my shitty laptop and I can't play anything :C:

Well, I just keep getting lucky, right now I found someone's wifi unprotected and it has incredible speed:D Good thing, I just got over the bandwidth limit of my mobile modem...

Oh, and I can't play anything either, my laptop keeps heating even when I play '95 games...

I had too much of him and I am sure he is stalking the forum right now interpreting our posts as a sign that he is being missed... let him be forsaken. You've got to be really, really dumb to think that just because my Assassin of Kings account was banned I'm out of the forum as well. I wager that not even you are so simple minded to believe something like that ... During all of these years since I was banned, I was never away from the forum ... Under different accounts I was always here. The banishment is not an impediment for me ... it's just an annoying thing, but it won't stop me. So, just so you know, see you in a month or so with a new identity.;)

In fucking deed. Hmm... too bad I don't really like spending money and time on games. Sure, PB games will always be welcome, yet I don't think I am going to play other games. So such an investment would seem excessive.

Dino
14.10.2011, 16:50
I suppose that is so. But I don't have anything better to do anyway, so might as well play games.

Get a job, they may say... sure, I'll just walk down on Job street and pick one up. There surely are plenty available. People love giving away money to random strangers for no reason.

I know, I many times suffer the same trying to convey a message and doing that in 3 different ways to make sure it arrives one way or another, and that takes time too.

Ain't that part of the skill?

Depends on the skill in question. Properly explaining a complex situation to an uninformed but interested audience requires both time and a certain eloquence. The deeper the analysis you want to talk someone through, the more time you need.

However, if you are only interested in a shallow, superficial analysis of the real matter and more focussed on the skill for rhetorical and sophistical battery, then you should not need a lot of time. You're only interested in wooing the audience. If you take too long, they'll get bored and you missed the goal. Hence, a time limit is in your own best interest.

Hmm I prefer my good old 360 controller. Maybe in 2025 consoles might start using that (successfully) and it'll be fun. I had no problem quitting keyboard and mouse for gamepad (even in fps). I think it could work, just not right now.

Hey what games are you waiting for/have high expectations?
My list (in order):
-Mass effect 3, god I want to spend time fighting the reapers! I hope this time it's not just about building a team...
-Risen DW. I hope they'll do something fun, exciting and cool...I hope I won't be disapointed
-I'd like to play skyrim, but it seems like an Oblivion bis...Just a lil' prettier and with new boring quests (like a DLC)
-Gotta play Gears of war 2&3, and black ops someday

-The next big thing is only planned for pc, darn!!!

That's all

Lol friday in France is bank holiday, and game stores are open! We win, as always §hehe
The only thing scary is there is still a little bit of auto-scalling, but hopefully so little, it will still be an rpg (go train to take on stronger opponent, you can reach a level where no one has a chance to kill you :D). Seriously, in Oblivion you go to train for a stronger oponent, when you're back it's stronger, what? And carrying elven armor by the ton when you're high level sucks, better to hand place a minimum.

About Skyrim being in stores, it's piracy (pirates are selling it someone in Bethesda even complained)! The only people who should have it are journalists and stuff.

Nisarg

Sometimes software just develop random problem, don't they?

I started up Drakensang 2 today morning and guess what - The graphics glitch once (some sort of pink flicker) and everything freezes after I load the save game. I have to restart the system using the power button because Windows doesn't respond to Alt-Tab or Ctrl-Alt-Delete either. After that, the graphics glitched and the system within a second of the main menu loading up. Oddly enough, both Football Manager 2011 (DX9c but no pixel shading I think, my brother plays that) and Gothic 2 (DX8.1) worked fine.

I tried Risen, it froze too, but not on the 2D menu but only after 3D rendering started. Then I felt that it was some sort of problem with Shader Model 3, and decided to reinstall DirectX 9.0c (not quite reinstall, but) and the GeForce drivers (the installer gives an option for a clean install) but that solved nothing. Then I decided to install Gothic 3 because I remembered that PB (bless them for this!) had included the option to choose between SM 1.4, 2.0 and 3.0.

Having tried G3 with 1.4 and 2.0 first and finding them working properly, I felt sure that there was a problem with SM 3.0. I tried G3 with SM 3.0 and oddly enough, it worked! I was quite astonished - what was it that caused SM 3.0 games dependent on newer versions of DX9c to freeze? Nothing it seems, because after that, both Drakensang and Risen worked properly again.

I'm still quite flabbergasted about the whole situation, but I certainly bless PB for having allowed us to switch Shader models in G3!

foobar
01.12.2011, 11:59
Maybe a simple overheating problem (SM3 games are usually newer and put more load on the video card). Have tried cleaning off the dust from the interior of the PC (especially the video card) with pressured air and checked if the fans are still working?

Nisarg
02.12.2011, 09:32
It occurred again today. Again, it was fixed using the same steps as yesterday.
I cleaned the card (and the rest of the mobo) but if it's a temperature problem, why would it be fixed every time I run G3 first with SM 1.4, then with SM 2.0 and finally with SM 3.0? Also, if the temperature is dangerously high, wouldn't the entire card also heat up? Whereas after forcibly powering off the system when it glitched today, I found the card itself was quite cool - only about 40 to 60 degrees centigrade.

EDIT: The glitch occurs again if I do not start playing an SM 3.0 game within a minute. After the time taken in which I posted the first part, it started glitching again.

Just to be sure about the temperature, I'm downloading NV system tools to monitor the temperature.

Thanks!

Just to be sure about the temperature, I'm downloading NV system tools to monitor the temperature.

Hmm, today, the glitch didn't occur when I tried to start Drakensang. Prior to starting Drakensang, I had the NV system tools start logging the temperature. Maybe it was a driver problem that was somehow 'fixed' by installing the system tools.:dnuhr:

The temperature stays in the 50s during normal operation but peaks at 110 degrees Celsius in a 3 hour session of Drakensang. Also, the temperature drops sharply on my alt-tabbing out (about 10 degrees in 500 ms) and rises just as sharply on my alt-tabbing in. While playing, it would at first stay in the 90s, and slowly rise to the 100s and 110s.

---

My personal guess is the the NV control panel somehow messed up.

You should either upgrade your case to one that allows more air flow, or keep the case(lid? xD) open. Overheating can be real nasty.

AshleyG

Hmmm removing the dirt, changing the cpu's "paste stuff", should do the trick. It's do-able.
+1 for xbox, once again...

Nisarg
09.12.2011, 15:26
Being able to fix the stuff yourself: +1 for the PC.

Also, the card is definitely done for. I'll have to get it repaired or replaced. Looks like the temperature or bad voltage blew up a capacitor.

And yes, I do keep the lid of my case open to prevent overheating.

AshleyG
10.12.2011, 08:34
Yeah but you don't need to fix the stuff on xbox :p . Ok let's not get into that. there's one thing I don't get with pc defenders: Games only work with windows! I mean crappy anoying windows! What's worse? Internet explorer? Ok maybe they tried to make things better with win7, but still it's only good for games and maybe societies that want a support.

Ow did you do some overclooking lol? that stuff happens when you play with your hardware. Ifnot, maybe it's just too old and has had a little too many crashes...

I supposed you are a computer geek if you defend the computer over the xbox, but it seems you're not (computer geeks rarely - never - like windows). I don't know what you do with your comp, but if you're not a computer expert, and still defend it over consoles, my question is: why??? §kratz

--> to explain my post : windows is hated because it's difficult (terrible! non-convenient!) to fix stuff with it compared to other operating systems §hehe

Nisarg
12.12.2011, 08:45
It's news to me that you actually have to be a computer geek to prefer a PC for gaming over a console. And as a computer geek you heartily dislike Windows and refuse to install it on your PC. But you can't play many DirectX based videogames (Yes, Wine doesn't always work) without Windows. Catch-22?

And here's why I defend it: Even with Windows hogging a sizeable chunk of resources, a PC with a halfway decent amount of RAM and a halfway decent processor by today's (late 2011) standards still greatly outperforms consoles, while also having tons of other features making it damn useful for tasks other than gaming.

And why do I use Windows? For the DirectX.

Also, PC games can potentially be modified by end users, and such modifications may improve the gameplay experience for you, depending on your tastes.

Dunno about losing interest -- I played Risen for a few hours after getting my PC and damn, it is the most boring game I have ever played, so in that regard I never had any interest to begin with. It's good as a continuation of Failthic 3, though.

Risen is all right in the beginning - the bandit camp and the first time you're in the city. But I never went beyond that in my second playthrough and I don't plan on a third.

Heh, even the modding community has lost what little interest it had in Risen.

AshleyG
28.12.2011, 15:11
He sure looks like a human....
Anyway why would the lizard do that to the Titans? The gods helped the humans take the upper hand, they replaced the Titans, and humans replaced the lizards as a dominant species. Risen story says it all "The gods helped free humanity from Titans" or something like that. And lizard on the island live with the trapped fire Titan so...

"I am Ursegor; Lord of the Titans, Lord of the Saurians. The dark god came to me first, and I spoke to him."

Ursegor himself then goes on to add that Zal Zaran and the other lizard guy (Zul Utur) were his equals. So there's probably an alliance between lizards and men.

Maladiq

ICFabian

According to this ( http://de.risen.wikia.com/wiki/Zul_Utur ) the two lizards (one of whom created Zel Zeret) were placed by Ursegor's side by the dark god. So yeah, there's probably an alliance between Ursegor and Beliar, like the one between Innos and Ursegor to trap the titans.

All conjecture, of course.

The adapter. For me it all is just a cable. It is the part you shove into the wall socket connected to the adapter, which connects to the laptop. The adapter's cable broke near the place you connect it to the laptop. I found a cable, but just a cable, not an adapter, mothefuckers.

I'd like to imagine newspapers headlines in a couple of years:

It's new! Now you have to buy a PC with a digital fingerprint scanner (most laptops have that already I think) to be able to play games!

It's new! Now in theaters you've got glasses which allow you to see/decrypt DLC from the movie if you buy them on internet (from your phone). Buy the 3D version you get 3D, buy the comments, you get comments, etc.
Every 20 minutes in the movie a choice is anounced: buy the additional scene (which wasn't in the main production line and budget of course- they just had free time...) and through your glasses you'll see it. Other people just will have to wait 5 minutes!

It's new! Now choose your game once you buy the game! Buy the disc, look at the intro, and then choose what story you want to play depending of the DLC, buy your ending too: if you want your hero to survice, it's 5$ more, thank you!

It's new, now to play you need to be connected non-stop, and you have to use PC/xbox-Kinect/wii/ps3-thingy webcam to play (game doesn't work without it). It adds cool new features. To launch the game you don't clic or type your password, just show your face and the network recongnizes your account. Hurray! yay! $tanz

The last one is the scariest one, right? :D

The act of cracking is illegal. The method is irrelevant. Do it yourself, use a program to do it for you (aka crack), hire someone to do for you, doesn't matter.

Maladiq
05.04.2012, 22:32
The act of cracking is illegal.

If I recall corectly, you were the one who kept saying that a game bought is a game owned. And in my books, law books that is, it clearly says that you are free to use, modify and transform something you own. Aka instance. One can write on the bages of the book, cut out passages, add new pages and so on. It is only natural that one has the right to modify is instance of the game, through means of his own, as he sees fit.

As far as I am concerned, an EULA has 0 juridical value. The valid contract is between me and the retail seller, when I pay the money.

foobar
05.04.2012, 22:43
If I recall corectly, you were the one who kept saying that a game bought is a game owned.

Yes. But the media mafia lobby added a nice little paragraph to the German copyright law making it illegal to change programs in most circumstances. It only applies to software, other copyrighted works (such as books) are not covered by that paragraph. From the perspective of the law, owning something does not necessarily mean you can do whatever you like with it. An example would be a building under monumental protection. You can still own it but you also cannot change it as you wish.

To understand the law, you just need to keep in mind that jurists are professional pettifoggers and hair-splitters. Common sense does not apply. Once you got that, it's quite easy to make sense of laws and verdicts and such. Ludwig Thoma (a Bavarian writer of the late 19th and early 20th century) once wrote about one of his characters: “He was a good jurist and otherwise of modest wit as well.”

Nisarg

Well, when in Rome, do as the Romans. I have a question though. Iirc, Germany has a Constitutional Court. Didn't it have a say regarding that paragraph?

foobar
06.04.2012, 12:58
Didn't it have a say regarding that paragraph?

No. I don't know of anyone who has challenged that paragraph. You would somehow have to prove that this paragraph violates your constitutional right. But that would be a tricky endeavour because the constitution explicitly states that property must also serve the common good.

I vaguely remember a somewhat similar case. A man went to the BVG (Bundesverfassungsgericht, the constitutional court) because some land he owned (a piece of forest) had been declared a natural reserve or something like that. He could not build on it, could not use it agriculturally, could not use it a parking lot, could not dig for mineral deposits and so on, and so forth. He argued that he had practically been dispossessed since he could not use the land anymore and hence, deserved a compensation for that. The court ruled against him because the law still allowed some mild silvicultural use of the land. And because he still could sell it (although no one would want such land).

Bottom line: When the PTBs really want something, they get it. Courts sometimes may get in their way but equally often support them.

Maladiq
06.04.2012, 17:21
I still don't see how the paragraph works for the "common" good. It works in the interest of a single individual, the legal person, and limits the rights of millions, the actual customers. It is an unprecedented infringements, seeing how single instances of anything considered to be intellectual proprieties are available to be modified by the owner of that instance, and furthermore, in certain cases, be published as individual works of art (case and point, dubstep music and not only).

I am pretty sure one could built a successful case for the constitutional court.:dnuhr:

Wouldn't it be fundamentally impossible?

I mean, GOG has absolutely no control over how many copies and what not you create as backup.

So wouldn't people abuse it by keeping their backups (which are about as securely protected as pirated copies) while selling their 'original' copies?

It has about as much chance of success as Danto's anarchist-capitalist-monarchist-whatnot-government.

No. It's just redundant. You already can sell any GOG game you want. And if you then wire-transfer a part of the money to their bank account, I'm sure they won't complain.

Anyone seen the trailer to the upcoming steampunk game from Arkane - Dishonored (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZ___7WU64Y)?
They are the ones who made Arx Fatalis and Dark Messiah of Might and Magic.
The atmosphere from the cinematic is quite good. Did not found any gameplay video so far but it looks promising.

There are a lot of reasons to look forward to Dishonored. My main reason is that it's developed by Arkane and those guys are in the top 5 developers of all time for me. Also, Harvey Smith is involved (he's mostly known for Deus Ex I guess... and maybe System Shock?). Last but not least, Viktor Antonov, the art director of Half Life 2 (and the cancelled Arkane game "The Crossing") is putting more brilliance into the gaming industry once again by working on this game. Indeed, there has been no gameplay shown so far, but I don't really care since what I've read about the game is enough for me. There are a couple of screenshots though. I think they'll show some gameplay at E3.

Talking about E3... come on already! I want to see what Larian has prepared for us! They'll show some fresh gameplay from Dragon Commander and also reveal Project E, finally!

Started playing Baldur's Gate (including the expansion) today. If I've ever said that I don't care about the graphics tech, I take it back. I require graphics to be at least as technically good as Divine Divinity. All this graininess gets me down. Also, the requirement of a mod which takes ages to install just so that you may play at a resolution higher than 640x480. Still, I'm only an hour or two in, so I don't have any other impressions.

Here (http://www.lar.net/2012/05/29/divinity-–-original-sin-revealed/)'s what Swen Vincke has to say about it (he also links to several previews).

I looked at a few screenshots, and I don't really like the artstyle. Whether or not it will prove tolerable remains to be seen. I personally liked Divinity 1's style much more. But apart from that, the game sounds promising.

Other than getting a DualShock to work on the PC, that is. That's kind of expensive and small. I have the 360 controller and I like it except for the wobbly sticks and horrible D-pad which has been getting me killed in old games without analog input.

Probably not. You cannot have such an outdated, crude, anachronistic gamedesign nowadays. So we would get a dumbed down version of Gothic, designed to fit the demands of today's mass market. Publishers won't risk anything else.

So what do you guys think of Windows 8?

I facepalmed at this bit of news (http://www.winsupersite.com/article/windows8/windows-8-release-preview-rip-aero-20032012-143133):

Microsoft quietly revealed this week that it will kill off the Aero glass interface in Windows 8 and replace it with a flat, Metro-like Explorer that’s more in line with the company’s current design mantra.

In the end, we decided to bring the desktop closer to the Metro aesthetic, while preserving the compatibility afforded by not changing the size of window chrome, controls, or system UI. We have moved beyond Aero Glass—flattening surfaces, removing reflections, and scaling back distracting gradients. (http://blogs.msdn.com/b/b8/archive/2012/05/18/creating-the-windows-8-user-experience.aspx)

Although nothing suggests that it won't optionally be available in Windows 8, I doubt we'll get Aero in Windows 8, even though it exists even in some preview versions.

What Microsoft means to say is that they're abandoning one of the most important visual components of their last two operating systems, in favour of something they designed for little touchscreens. And guess what, the results look a lot like something that's already available in every Windows OS so far. The Windows Classic theme, whose colours can be customised (I believe) completely. The only things that looks different some of the icons.

Okay, granted that solid colours and simple shapes look very clean and slick. I like such an interface myself. But I also like more complex visual effects. And my PC is more than powerful enough to display a little eye-candy. The gradient, the blur, the transparency effects all delight my eye. These heavier effects have their own charm. Why not allow both instead of abandoning one of them?

Also, we have a start screen instead of the start menu, and it looks like something straight out of a windows phone. I firmly believe that the interface does NOT belong on my desktop systems. I don't want big tiles cluttering up my screen and use space I require for other purposes. A similar problem is the use of a ribbon interface. The ribbon interface is way more obtrusive than a traditional menubar. I can only hope that all that functionality is also available in the form of context menus.

06.10.2012, 14:41
So what do you guys think of Windows 8?

It's a sound strategic move and quite typical. MS has - once again - slept through a new development and is trying to catch up. Tablets and smartphones in this case. The success or failure of a mobile OS is based on the apps it provides. And Google and Apple have full app stores whereas MS can show only a handful of programs. So they use their dominance in the PC sector as leverage.

MS can afford to do that because they already dominate the market on PC operating systems. No need to cuddle the customers there because they have little choice anyway (Linux is only for geeks, as everyone knows, and Macs are only for rich people). Except for the new USB3 drivers, there is little in the new Win8 in which a PC user could be interested in. Many things are even more complicated than they were under Win7. Monopolies don't exactly do much for technical innovations or user-friendliness (see the future of Steam today, btw. ;)).

The metro design might be useful on tablets or smartphones but it is not very comfortable on big screens without touch equipment. The user-friendly option would be to let the user decide which interface he gets. The old desktop or the new metro design (i.e. right on login; a session-based approach). But that would not help them to catch up in the tablet market. No one would use Metro that way and then how would they ever establish it in the mobile sector?

So instead, they force the new desktop on everyone. The big corporations with their work PCs who don't take kindly to such changes in workflows, they will still get their Win7 via special contracts and stuff. But the general mass market will be forced to Metro. Joe R. User who buys his PC with a preinstalled OS from Dell or so will get Win8 - and Metro. And changing that would be a lot of work for him (installing a new OS is a scary thought for most people) and cost him money (he'd have to buy a separate Win7 license). So he will just have to accept Win8 and Metro.

Hence, Metro will be pushed into the market with new PCs, just like Vista or WinME back in the day (nobody really wanted them either). Once that is done and Metro is in widespread use, developers will be forced to write apps for it. It's a big market. Since these apps will also work on the new Windows 8 tablets, they will fill the app store and thus, make Win8 more attractive to customers on mobile platforms. This is where there's still a real competition, so MS is using the PC users to create a demand for Metro apps and bully the competitors away. Not a completely new strategy for them, by the way.

Making the old desktop less visually attractive is just another means to "encourage" the use of Metro.

Nisarg
06.10.2012, 17:15
I haven't used it much, but I liked the interface of Windows Phone 7.5 (out of the box) much more than Android (at least, an old version of Android - 2.3.6). I guess Android might be more customisable (as in theming support and such, but I don't think I such an option) but WinPh doesn't force sky blue on you and allows you to choose the two main colours it uses (though the choice consists of only 16 or so colours, no idea if it also has a colour picker). I don't think Win8 will include such an option, will it?

I think I'll try to get used to Linux (let's say OpenSUSE with KDE) - I've managed to successfully dual boot it with Windows 7, so let's how long it lasts. I even discovered that for whatever reason, you can't install service packs on windows 7 if it cannot read the very first partition on your hard drive (i.e. the partition isn't FAT or NTFS).

I guess I'm just sore that my first (and so far only) skin for Opera will suck on Win8 for want of Aero. :D

So far you don't. But each new version is a step into the future and sooner or later the last good version (XP) will be obsolete and newer stuff simply won't support it. Which is exactly what worries me.

Extended support for XP ends in April, 2014. After that, you won't get any more security patches. Which means that you should cease using it, at least if you're connected to the internet. Then there's the DirectX9 threshold and of course the dwindling driver support from manufacturers.

I recently switched my gaming system from XP to Win7. Not because I wanted to but because sooner or later, I'll have to deal with it. So I though I might as well start gathering experience with it while there's no rush. I hope that I'll be able to skip Win8 just like I did Vista and that Win9 will have a usable interface again. Then again, I just need for gaming so it's not that big a deal.

For real work, I use Linux. Much more comfortable and powerful.

Bastardo

XP will be 13 years old by 2014. If you don't like where Microsoft is going, then switch. Uninstall Windows and replace it with another OS and go buy yourself a console not made by Microsoft. Actually there are a lot of big games coming out for Mac these days so you could get an Apple computer and support the other supercorporation, if that makes any difference. Microsoft sucks for a lot of reasons but they don't force anyone to buy anything. They can't.

Personally I don't think Windows 7 is horrible so I'm using that one, but I am a pretty casual OS user.

There’s a faint hope that GOG will one day address that issue. Right now, they’re bringing a lot of games (including the Witcher series) to Mac. And once you have ported a game to Mac, Linux is not too far a stretch. It’s also a Unix system that uses OpenGL. But we’ll have to see. Windows (even Windows 8) is a tolerable game loader, if a little bloated.

There are companies that are porting games for Linux but they don't have the budget. Loki Software tried to bring more games for Linux but they went bankrupt. Linux Game Publishing is trying as well and they are somewhat suceeding. I am fairly certain that GoG will be the first step in perceiving gaming as an option on Linux

Speaking of GoG, I think it's high time they released Gothic 1; Oni; Enclave; Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy; Worms World Party.

I believe it would be wiser if I actually updated my information before demanding such nonsense out of GoG.

But seriously, how come there are no Jedi Knight games yet? Now that Disney got the copyrights of Lucas, I do hope they allow GoG to release Jedi Outcast and it's sequel, Jedi Academy.

Oh I see. Some false advertising here and there in Gothic 1. The two out of game screenshots and the "over 100 hours of gameplay"... that's not a nice thing to do.

Hmm, about the 100 hour gameplay. The latest savegame of my first playthrough of G1 counted around 27 hours. I suspect I played at least 60 hours if counting all the saving and loading and exploring and so on. But yes, 100 hours of gameplay is excessive.

My first playthrough of gothic 1 was somewhere between 40 and 50 hours of gameplay, without the saving and loadin. So considering I did have a slow PC back then that would make arround 60-65 tops.

I hate false advertising. There's no point in lying the customers once and then never seeing them again. It's much better to try and win them long-term. There's more cash if they decide to stay.

They always overestimate this kind of stuff. I dunno, they may be straight-out bullshitting or counting one play-through for each faction.

Since my last computer recently went *poof*(power supply blew and took out some other stuff), I bought a brand new system which, of course, comes with Windows 8. After the initial outrage I'm slowly getting used to it, getting a free program to put the 'Start' button back into the desktop helped immensely so it's not so unbearable now. I have other issues with it though and I agree with foobar with about everything he says in his post.

Oh, and I've also become an Opera convert since getting this pc, Firefox crashed repeatedly (though I believe there is a beta out there that fixes that) and I hate Excrement Explorer and I don't like Chrome, so I tried Opera and so far I think I'll be browsing with it from now on.

Anyone know of a proper tutorial for skinning Windows 7? And yes, I mean proper skinning, not just changing the colour of Aero. I've had it with the abundance of baby blue all over the place.

I've been looking at this lately as well and it seems that you need some tool that enables you to mod your windows 7 installation. However, all i found were payed apps so i kinda gave up. Might give it another try in the future tho, but i guess i'd have to find a sifferent way to "obtain" one of these apps... :dnuhr:

Hey guys... I just thought of blowing the bomb (is that even an idiom?) in here for the first time, rather than Peanuts. I just got engaged. Or at least kinda :D

I believe that's 'dropping the bomb'. But anyway, congrats. :)
