digging problems

I'm playing the NOTR addon, and i've encountered A problem... I've tried to dig on those "x"-es and nothing happens... If i wouldn't have to get those treasures to different characters.. it would be no problem, but now I'm stuck and can't go on. So, PLEASE HELP! With some advice....
Is it a problem that i am a wizzard and don't have strenght enough?

Hi and welcome to World Of Gothic.

Well, there are two things you have to do. First, talk to the pirate Greg, and he will send you to a cave to dig up the first X. And second you need a pickaxe, that Greg gives you. After digging up the first X, Greg will give you another quest, to dig other Xs, and then you can dig them up.

there was another problem like this some time ago. The solution was that the guy was trying to dig with the pickaxe equiped. You only have to press CTRL in front of the X mark to start digging.
I'm not sure if this is your problem tough.

Strange...I started to dig without Greg to tell me to.I just bought a pickaxe and started digging.It was just an idea,I had no idea what those X's were till then.

10x for the answers guys... Holdin CTRL solved the problem of jumping around the X like a frog... Yet, digging gives no result... How many times do you hit the ground until u find the treasures???

About 3-4 times if i remember correctly.
But the items should go directly to the inventory so you will only see some text on the screen like "treasure found" or something like that.

Well, I REALLY hope to see that TREASURE found writing to appear!!!:) yesterday I've dug like 1 hour continuously...§cry

1 hour? There is sth wrong. You just have to complete one diging animation (which includes a few hits). Do you have the quest to get it? I am not sure if it correct but 1 hour isn't necessary with normal circumstances.

it ins't relly a important quest,it's no big deal if u don't do it;)

You don't have to repeat hitting ctrl, just once and hold it.
