Lizardmen & Chapters

I am now in chapter 2, playing for the Don.
But I want to know when the lizardmen appear on the island.
I'm not strong enough to fight multiple ghouls,
so first i want to explore as much as possible, without running into lizardmen.
I know there are one or more in the eastern temple,
but when i wait with entering the temple as long as possible, i should be safe, right?

I also didn't make it to the eastern part of the island,
because of the 3 ghouls inside the cave passage from west to east.
So which quests are safe to complete, without the lizardmen show up on the island?


And what are the triggers for the next chapters?
Prologue --> Chapter 1 = after conversation with Sara at the first house
Chapter 1 --> Chapter 2 = after talking to Mendoza
but what about the rest?

Chapter 2--> Chapter 3= after giving all the crystal disks to Mendoza and...
Chapter 3--> Chapter 4= you'll see ^^

as far as i know, the lizards appear on the island after you have been in the eastern temple or in the northern-eastern temple (mission about Cyrus-Eldric), since in both of them you'll find the first lizards
you can do the quests about the graves related to SteelBeard, the cursed skeletons rings, and if you manage to kill the ghouls in the mountain, you can do also the quest about the gnomes-Gryger in the eastern edge of the island

After leveling up 2 times, finaly managed to kill the ghouls in the tunnel from west to east,
(one by one), so that little problem is over.

So now i can collect all the toolbags from the gnomes, and level up some more before i enter one of the two temples.

There is only a single lizardman in the eastern temple. Also, in my opinion Ghouls are harder to fight than lizardmen since you have to go permanently backwards to block them.

Yesterday i defeated the titan, so now i can answer my own questions :D

Chapter 3 --> Chapter 4 = After releasing Ursegor, fighting the member of the order, and talk to Ursegor about the titan-armour.

The first Lizardmen, out in the open, appeared after releasing Eldric the druid (and Drok).
That was the first temple i entered with lizardmen. I had Cyrus and Fred with me, so it wasn't verry difficult.

In chapter 2 and 3 i had much more problems with the lizardmen, then with the ghouls,
but that is different for everybody i guess.
