Once again, I express the hope that all those employees who did not have a hand in the decisions or management of JoWooD get better jobs now - from the janitors to the execs. JoWooD's actions are not their fault - and one hopes that this serves as a warning to various publishers, not to be blinded by their greed. But I suppose that this warning won't be taken seriously enough until EA goes bankrupt.

It would have been good for the lulz.

Good riddance anyway, Jowood used to be good, releasing and funding many obscure and good titles apart from Gothic, but then they got greedy wanting more than they had the ability to budget for. They alienated a loyal Gothic fanbase and released one substandard half finished 'Gothic' game after another. PB will do fine now, though I wonder if they'll bother with 'Gothic' anymore after the raping Jowood and Spellbound and Trine gave it.

Practically all games that were publishe by JW suffered to some extent from their support policy.
