Back here with another small problem, and that is... proportions. I have modeled a barrel then opened it in spacer etc. etc. added it in the game then started the game. The barrel was HUGE. I tried to rescale it in 3ds max then export it with the exporter. Still the same thing. What should I do?

Check the scale setting of your export plugin. By default, it may be set to 100. Also, for small items, try and uncheck the transform into world coordinates option. That should be used for levelmeshes and such.

I need some explanation. I am learning scripting by doing it, and I figured out the basic stuff - dialogues, item exchange, change of routines, new items and such. Now I am trying to figure out some not so basic stuff.
I have some problem with doors. I want a door to be unlocked only when NPC is inside, and to be locked when he/she is outside. Also I want a lock to be pickable at first. Picked door remains unlocked, and it must trigger a certain response in NPC (dialogue), and a change of a lock (I guess a change of a door with unpickable lock). What is a way to do it? A clear explanation would be real nice.

To make additional schedule for your NPCs.
For example, one common NPS is located outdoors, where their business.
second, inside the premises.
The game engine itself it will move back and forth, depending on what the schedule is active. It this door will be closed forever.

There is no specific model iirc. All use the base hum_body_naked, and are textured differently. Of course there are two models for male and female characters .

Please use only english on any english boards here. If you are trying to suggest to him that PM's would be a better solution, then do it through a PM. Otherwise, write in english. Protocol demands.

Hi!
So I just started today with this modding xD
I decided that first thing I will do will be retexturing Paladin armor.
I unpacked the archive where textures are located, I converted armor to .tga file, and started editing it in Photoshop. Now my question is, how to put the armor into the game now? Do I have to convert it back to .ximg or what? I am confused, I was looking for the answer on forums, but couldn't find nothing helpful
Of course I will share the armor with u, as soon as I make sure that everything is up and running good.

You just have to place it into the correct folder, then the game engine will convert it automatically into *.ximg.
Should be something like:
...\Data\_compiledImage\animation\
(The folders which are not exist must be created).

Hello everybody,
I want to start learn gothic 2 Tnor modding...
I have one question... I saw lots of tutorials for dialogues, quests, NPCs, but the only link for new world making was broken...
The question is: How can I make my own mod, which I will launch from gothic mod-starter??
I wanna make for example simple map with flat landscape, just for beginning... I will just step-by-step add things in this mod and I will learn...
Thanks for replies
Sorry for my bad English

Hey there,
you have to copy a so called .ini in the GothicII/System. Then Paste it also in the GothicII/System and change the name to a name you mod´s called. Then open it and change the stuff in there. Like the world, you´d like to play in you mod. And of course the name and the *.mod file. Then your mod is in the Starter.
