It's done!
All work on the patch has been finished, we're in the last steps of perfoming safety checks and therefore all is wrapped up. Everything's ready for a release!
Next week it's about time!
That week you may download the free patch which turns your copy of Gothic 3 Forsaken Gods into Gothic 3 Forsaken Gods Enhanced Edition.
Additionally all of you who do not own the game yet may purchase the Enhanced Edition via Steam in English, German, French*, Italian* and Spanish* language.
To get a feeling for all the changes we implemented you may also have a look at the changelogs now!

Right now the exact date is +/- 1 day which is why we don't want to fix it to a certain day. But you can definitely be sure that you will get to know it is available.

hell! it's about time!
2 year ago i asked my self "will people do a good patch like they did to gothic 3?" but i answered to my self "nah... this game is dead thought 1.8 is last and ppl don't gonna waste their time fixing it"

That stupid Austrian firm should have made sure you guys were involved with Gothic 4 then it would be awesome game.
Again you guys rock! Gothic 3 with all the enhancements is really an unforgettable game. Truly EPIC!
Can't wait to see what you did with Forsaken. Gonna take vacations at work so I can play the game in peace.

At the moment we didn't think about it. Probably, only probably, we would make another patch for G3. But that's not for sure.

I read that in new patch for Gothic 3 Forsaken Gods, shaders are cached differently, Gothic 3 is also needed in this

Installing FG as we speak by the way, we won't have to install the previous patches will we? Will it be like the G3 CP 1.74 installer were it will scan to see what version of FG you have installed then install the patches we need?

Original FG would be enough and the only the new EE patch should be installed.
