@sowilo, maybe you can make the screens a little bit larger, it´s hard to see that you wrote town there.

On the left it´s for new customers, on the right if you have allready bought something there, you can enter with your customer-number.

"Next" is to hit "Bestellen"... this should finish the order.

Got mine today but haven't installed yet. I ordered it over 2 weeks ago so the service was a little slow. When I opened the box I realized why it took so long. It seems thet they don't have enough personel to burn the product to disk or it just takes alot of time because their old CD-burners

and I'm not kidding here but the thing is in two normal CD-R disks and on them there is hand written text Gothic I EN CD1/CD2. Just thought you'd like to know because somebody might get disappointed. I'm quite satisfied but I only paid 4,99 for them and ofcourse you can't get them anywhere alse.

now...let the fun begin (just hope the cds are OK)

What the.. I don't get it. They are distributing copies? It seems a little unfair.. You could just download it from internet and NOT pay for it. But you paid and got a copy, not the original?

If they made you beliefed you buy an original Gothic, and then you pay for an illegal copy, that means they betray you!

It´s the "old song" about that publisher that don´t manage to handle the international customers! ... i´m starting getting doubts they handle G3 in the right (international) way!

The G1 publisher in Germany was shoebox. English xicat. Shoebox don't exist anymore. Now dtp seems to have the German rights for Gothic 1. Who have the international rights of gothic 1?.... Or has the license to produce it...?

Wow.

Really this is something truly hilarious.The most unprofessonal way to distribute a game i've seen so far. But i quess its better that they are distributing the game, because clearly people are intrested in the product.Still its quite shocking to observe how they are delivering the game on normal burned cds without any official signs.

However i can still remember how difficult it was to obtain a legal copy of gothic even when Xicat was handling the distribution.I had to hunt my copy for months.

If you had bothered to find an answer to all the "W"-questions you wouldn´t have posted such (on many levels) uninformed nonsense.




The last thing I read about Xicat is that they either filed for bankruptcy or a former business partner did it for them. It´s not clear whether the company still exists and whether or not they still have the international rights for Gothic. Their website is outdated.
