It's going kind of slow. I have a lot of projects going on, and not all of them are Gothic related. But as they say, slowly but steady.

so u change the dmg and range of weapons? and do u add new weapons? or just modify old ones?

There will be two versions of my mod. One will only replace the old weapons; the other one will rebalance all the weapons so that no weapons in the game are left untouched. So, yes, range and damage will be changed.

the second version sounds much more interesting! btw, will you add some effects to new weapons? like ones in g2notr do have - magic crossbow, fire bow, beliar's claw - glowing, shining, etc? or for example like in G1 mod dark mysteries one of the primevals got weapon - staff - with hit effect: opponent after a successful hit flies away like after wind fist spell casted

I've been tampering with the scripts and I can say that I may be able to do that, only problem is that particle effects have a thing that I don't like: Particles come out of the vertices of whatever mesh you're using. E.g. I made the dagger have a fire effect, but the fire was more concentrated on the hilt rather than the blade.

first is found i gothic 1 (in may versions, just look at new camp)
second (mace with chain) can be found in gotic 2 in that dexter's bandit camp in that tower where a bandit sleeps (it's on the table near bed)

Not for now. Just like last year, I won't be updating a whole lot, this is because of my studies in RL so any project that I have will have to wait a bit. Again, this DOES NOT mean that I won't work on this anymore. I continue to model stuff, just not at the same pace. I hope you all understand.

yes, but does the animation fit to the name of the weapon (mace and CHAIN...)
I mean, do you see something swinging with great speed or something, or when you stand still you see the ball moving to the front and rear??? Do you even see a chain?
for the chainmail, I don't think an skeleton should guard it... or (some of) the stats should be better than the crawler plate armor.
maybe an couple of goblins : Goblin-warrior, they wear chainmail, why not put the armor in one of their chests???
edit: maybe this weapon then? (2-handed ofc)

edit2: adding an ROGUE style (2 weapons, main hand: 1-handed, 2nd hand: dagger, but the animation of those combo's...)

dual wielding would need a lot of scripting, so i dunno if he will be able to do it since he deals with 3d models, but it sounds cool
