Where can i get the following runes in Gothic 1, The RAin of fire and Chain lightning? Im in the end of chapter one i think and am looking for the 'Ingredients' for the Ulu-mulu so i beleive that they should be avalable to me.....but where?

Fire Rain:
From Xardas (Chapter 5 (!!!)). The spell you can buy from Torrez from chapter 3 on.

Chain Lightning:
Rune in Chapter 3 from Cronos, Spell since chp. 2 (also from Cronos).

Ah okay, thanks but iv looked through Cronos' supplys many a time and the strongest lightning spell i can find on him is Ball lightning, could you be mistaken or it be somewhere else. And thanks for the rain of fire

Yeah, you are right, what i was spoken from was the Ball lightning, but there are only 2 lightnings in G1, the "normal" lightning and the ball lightning, i think the chain lightning is from G2.

(BTW: I´m just searching the german database, i don´t know these things from my own mind, but i belief they (Mondgesänge-Database) made no mistakes)

Ok, again you are right, but the thing is, there are only TWO lightning spells (doesn´t matter how they called).

Which on is which one
Ok, the chain lightning is the "normal" lightning, and the ball lightning is ´the ball lightning! (I´ve checked this by comparing the damage)

Chain lightning u can get from one of undead shamans (U`ll later understand ) And this is circle 4 magic rune!

U`re a litle bit wrong there are 3 lightnings in G1 - Lighning Bolt (only spell scrools (I gues)) ; Ball Lightning (circle 3 magic) and Chan Lightning (circle 4 magic)

Ah thanks, and i understand it anyways :P completed it before, just not as a mage and it was a year or so ago, but its strange to have a 4th cirlce with the Undead shamans
So i'll stick with storm of fire for now then, and thanks for explaining that too

I`m not a mage this time, i`m tmplar and we (templars) can learn only 4 circles of magic! But I handle One and Two-handed weapons as a master!
