If you can't enter mud its ok... but if you'll add someone like him (or one of his friend from khorinis), it could be much fun
its just a suggestion if its impossible then it dont have to be there at any cost......

Hey, I thought I would check in and give a progress update, to tell you guys things I have to fix, features to add, etc. It's not a countdown to v 1.0, but It'll give you guys an idea of where the mod is at.
Basically here is whats left:
- Fixing the bug with The Bandit Tower quest from Henry
- Fixing a bug with ripping off Lehmar
Not a high priority
- Fixing bugs already in the game, (eg, bugs in the Dialogue of Lares & Pyrokar)

I forgot to add, I'm also working on enabling you to use the simple way to join all three guilds. Lares can help you join all three.
Basically, the dialogue option won't disappear after you've made your first choice, so you can obtain the simple way to join all three guilds. So if you thought you'd like to join the Militia, but change your mind and want to join the Fire Mages, you can still do so, without paying 1000 gold pieces and facing the annoying task of escorting the sheep.

The only way we could do the quest:Fast way to join,was to talk with Lares,ask to join the militia,do the quest for Martin and talk to Lee about the Circle of Water and the test,get the test from Torlof and speak with Cord.Only 2.
All 3 of them would be great.

Yeah. This makes your options far more open early on in the game, something I was really going for. There are a couple
of other changes to the game as well.
What I have thought about adding to the game is the ability to become a Magician of Water. This would happen after
I would like to allow this regardless of your guild. Would this unbalance the game, or detract too much from being a Fire Mage? I think it's a semi-logical step, being initiated into the Circle of the Water Mages, after rising up from being a member of the Ring. After all, Saturas has said that. Why not let you join up?

Btw that means u have to do new dialogs?
If yes u could do a quest,
Wow i could my own mod if i knew more about them.I could do a story and the quests on the spot.

I player in the 9.0a and it was still the same... i hope you going to fix it in the 1.0 version
and i got one more bug with lares... i gave him the ornament and then i went with him to onar's farm,i wanted him to kill the orc in the cave so i went to lure him from there... i escaped from the cave when the orc was behind me but lares wasn't there... he left me the orc and run, i went to orlan's tavern and then i found lares near the tavern (probably went to drink while i was fighting with the orc )
after that he went back to town and i couldn't tell him to go with me and return the ornament to the water mages.... and even after I joined the ring of water (and broke the rule to to talk about in public ) i couldn't take the ornament back and bring it myself... all i could do is marvin mode and to take the ornament from him by dropping it from his body... is this bug will be fixed in the future?
oh - and one more thing, will i have to start the game from the begining again in the 9.0c version?

The bug with Lares' dialogue is a common complaint with Gothic 2 Gold. I have heard that the option reappears in Chapter 3, but reloading is usually a better option. That is a bug I am working on fixing, but it was in the game beforehand, my mod didn't introduce it.
On that note, I believe I someone else has fixed that error before, but I think it was for the German Version of NOTR.
As to the bug with Henry, I am still working on that one, I am slightly confused on what is causing it, as replacing Henry's script hasn't worked, leading me to think the error is somewhere outside his script. So, I have to browse through several scripts to find this error, which is why its taking me a while to fix. Hang in there, I promise I'll find it sooner or later.
And for v0.9c, you could probably just play through without anything wrong happening, but you might have to start a new game to see some of the features.

I think that what coused the bug with henry is the fact that my game aren't gotic 2 gold, i got the gothic 2 + NoTR....
And about the 0.9c ill start a new game to see the other features...

Gothic 2 Gold Is Gothic 2 + NOTR.
And the Water Mage thing ain't working yet, so wait around for that.

what I tried to say is that my game is 3 cd's of gothic 2(original) and one cd of NoTR which i got later ...and i didn't had that bug before...

An update and for everyone.
I am working on enabling joining the Water Mages in Saturas' dialogue. I am also fixing a few grammatical errors/discrepencies with the dubbing in the dialogue files. I believe I am close to fixing the bug with the Bandit's Tower quest.
In addition, I am adding new talent bonuses for joining the Militia & Mercenaries, and rebalancing the weapons to be more like Gothic 2 Classic. The Goal was to make the Guild Weapons (Ore Dragon Slayer swords, Paladin Swords) more powerful than the other weapons. Please note, I did not decrease the damage of the weapons, just rebalanced them a bit. Dragon Hunters now get the best weapons in the game.
I have also rebalanced the armors, so Paladin's Armor is stronger than Heavy Dragon Hunter's Armor. The Robe of the High Magicians of Fire is also a little better now.
Another thing is, I'm rebalancing LP costs this way:
10 - 60 1 LP/Skill Point
60 - 90 2 LP/Skill Point
90 - 120 3 LP/Skill Point
This will apply to all weapon skills & stats, with the exception of Mana, as I think the biggest problem with NOTR is how LP gorging it is on Fire Mages.
So, the Mana costs will remain left alone.
