Good evening everyone! I'm sorry that I don't speak German, but I'm not good at it and I just want to ask a few simple questions about the Gothic Reloaded Mod.


My question is about the current mod status and when it's probably going to be released? I would like to see some kind of graph like the Frontier mod (for Fallout New Vegas has on its page) would be great, but it's not needed. For me, it's enough to know the average amount of work done in the percents. And don't worry, I have absolutely no problem to wait since rushed products are never a good thing. Also, ThielHater told me that I can ask in English too so I came here for the info.

We will release another demo this year (and yes, we know that there is not much time left). A long time ago I thought about making our progress public but I decided not do so because we are doing this for fun. There is no need to put ourselves under pressure or to dissapoint fans by making up deadlines we won't meet. However, the overall progress is about two thirds. I wrote a short text about this and other aspects of developing the mod, it will released with the demo.

Hi, i wanted to ask about the charcter models. Will be there option in installation to choose between models with fists instead of those GTA San Andreas like hands? I seen hq models you had with fists on some of the screenshots, can this be an option?

At present you can choose between the original model with fists and the new hq model with open hands. The fingers are not animated yet, just like in GTA:SA. We are cooperating with Mark56, those models will actually be part of the next Carnage Graphics Patch release.

I'm currently using your Texture Pack and the Carnage Graphics Patch so I'm looking forward for the next updates in the CRP and for the GRM!

Btw: Can I somehow change my username since I forgot to add letter k to my name and now I don't have username Marek, but only Mare which I don't want. And I'm afraid that only the admin can allow me that when they PM me on some special occasion or something like that from what I read.

Ah, in terms of other feedback and ideas.
Face textures on Diego, Gorn and Milten look great, but Nameless and Lester dont look right, Lester's beard is kinda off, it's dense on his original texture, he looks to young in comparison to original texture.
While Nameless should be as close to this kind of appearence: http://orig11.deviantart.net/f44a/f/...od-d73s1n4.png, if possible ofcourse.
Good luck with finding way to fix fatness/muscularity settings for characters in dx11

Are you referring to these images? We already fixed Lester's age, the images in the gallery are not up to date. There have been slight changes to the Hero as well.

I disabled body fatness in the renderer for now.

Wir wollten kurzfristig noch ein neues Feature einbauen, das hat dann aber Probleme gemacht. Mehr Details beim Release, das Jahr hat immerhin noch ein paar Tage. Es tut mir leid, euch nun so vertrösten zu müssen.
