Hei MikeL , why don't you just enter ---:::marvin mode:::--- and TRANSFORM yourself into another unimportant but skilled character.Let's say for example a nameless Paladin from the harbour area.That's if,you know,don't really want to play with the Hero.
You could write down your stats and skills before you kill the undead dragon. Also make a note of all your items if you want. When you start a new game, just give the neccessary attributes and items onto your hero before starting to play. You're exp should already be at zero at the beginning of the game.
That would be a bad idea imho. Mixing up resources. Even if it's possible to work i have no doubt that you will stumble on other problems because of the move.
But there is a way to import your hero from G2 to G2+addon.
In G2 :
b
marvin
b
F2
hero export notrimport
F2
Then you should locate in your saves folder a filename called notrimport.zen
Then copy that file somewhere and after you have installed the addon copy the file in your saves folder(the one that belongs to the addon).
(Basicaly if you'll install the addon over the current installation the former saves should be located in the backup folder).
Now, in G2+addon :
b
marvin
b
F2
hero import notrimport
F2
b
42
b
That will also disable the marvin mode. With your former hero imported you can make a rush to the valley of mines and see if the bug still happens.
If it works...either you start a new game or you continue playing with this one...it's actually your choice

You mean to edit the atributes, items etc. at the begining of the new game?
If so how can I do that (adit him)?
@Werner
But rockfest copied the hero from the classic Gothic to AddOn right.
I want to start a new game with an improved character so I can master every skill in the game
@Sword guy
I don't want to change shape I want to start a new game with the abilities I have after I have killed the Undead Dragon
Is there a way to start a new game and edit the abilities of the hero?
You can edit the abilities at any time.
But some properties cannot be changed in the console (e.g. talents). Therefore, you should use the import feature.

Which bugs.
"Some components report an error/warning but you have decided to ignore them."
