Help! My Endurance Bar has turned grey (Forsaken Gods Enhanced Edition)

All of a sudden my endurance bar (between health & mana bars which are still correct colors) has turned grey instead of yellow. I tried quitting and restarting the game, but that did not help. Going back to an earlier save does fix it, however.

Any ideas what might have caused this & how to fix it? I really don't want to have to go back to the earlier save as there was a difficult battle between the two saves that I don't want to have to repeat. Also, any ideas on how to prevent it from happening again?

Your problem was a wild beast. The one who did it was (I don't know which one) or a boar or a ripperbeast.
If he hits you and you don't have the perk: Immume to disseases, you're infected by him and your stamina will regenerate really slow.

The above statement may not be true as I do not own FG.

I don't know who teaches you this perk, but I believe the rangers and hunters do. (If they have those in FG)

That's interesting ... I'd just had a nasty battle with some lizards when it happened. But, and this is odd, I showed 100% endurance. I'll try re-loading that save and see if a cure disease potion fixes it.

Edit: You were right, that was it. A "cure disease" potion made it go yellow. I had not realized that was the indication for disease.

    Thank you!

    @ C-Hawk:
You're mistaken a bit because boar attack can't cause disease effect. AFAIK it may do warans, rippers, trolls and mummies.

    As I told:
    (I don't know which one)
I don't own FG, but in G3 do warans cause disease as well?
I thought only ripperbeasts... (as boars don't)

Hey, I didn't knew it either before I had played like 80 hours and then another 60 or so, (never finished the game...)
At my 2nd playthrough I knew it thanks to a thread on the forum
Don't know if I was the maker of that thread as well, could be..

So lizards do affect as well... another mistery solved.
Could someone else give more information on which animals can infect you? No poisonous...

If you don't have that perk, just go to some potion's dealer (vendor) and buy a potion "cure disease (it has a blue cross painted on the bottle)), drink it and it will heal you
