Hi, i am new but I am very old Gothic Fan, I was visiting this site for a very long time and now I am am part of it , I have only G1 and i have a problem , I can't see my object's from my inventory , for example : ring & amulets, the stalks of swampweed etc. .
What can I do to see them ???

I had a similar problem, I couldn't see some parts of my inventory, however it was probably because my computer graphic was too low. So I got used to it. If it really bothers you, try to download a patch or repair your instalation --> Control panel/ Add/Remove programs/ Gothic 1 - when it asks you what to do, choose repair. Hope it works

My computer graphic is hight , but i can't see the items
I am used to it , I've finished Gothic 1 2734602146 (weel... not realy ) times with every english mod posible

Some possible solutions (let us know if something work and what):

- Gothic 1 - Patch v1.08k

- Set your desktop-properties to 32-bit colors

- Set your game-video-properties to 32-bit colors also

- Add (or exchange) this line in the gothic.ini:

zInventoryItemsDistanceScale=2.0 (or 3.0) (makes the items smaller)

Then just insert it, i would first try it under [GAME], if you don't see then any changes in the game, try to put it under [PERFORMANCE].

Well,... i think the best compromise would be to live with that,... you could play around with some gpu-drivers,... but i REALLY don't recommend this (i just shooted my windows,.... ---> never touch a running system!!!)! ^^
