I just got to Level 5 watermage and was told of the Ripple of Death spell. Anyone know where this is?
Thanks

It would be helpfull if you would tell us which part/type of gothic you play. Since you are a water mage, I presume it is Gothic 1. Anyway, I never heard of Ripple of Death, sorry.
Btw, you must mean chapter 5 because you have to be at least level 10 to become a water mage. Or were you talking about circle 5?

Sorry for the ridiculously inept posting
G1 5th Circle WaterMage. When Saturas promotes you to the 5th circle he talks about the "Ripple of Death" spell.

I don't remember... But I remember a spell called Breath of Death, and also Wave of Death. Just save 40 XP points and pay a visit to Xardas later.

I certainly don't remember Saturas talking about Ripple of Death, I never used it. Maybe Xardas can sell you the spell scroll, also talk to Riordian. And you can try to picklock some chests of the water mages.
You also get a rune from th sword Uriziel, if you ask Xardas to extract it from it ("Uriziel's Wave of Death" or something like that..)

Having just turned into a water mage from a Fire mage.. He's correct sir.. Saturas tells you that if you ever find/get the spell 'Ripple of Death' you would be a force to reckon with..
But, that could be just a simple error in translating.. It might be refering to Breath of Death or Wave of death.. or any of those death spells.. No way to tell really.

Myth
It refers to the Wave of Death, I'm sure of it. (Todeswelle)
Todeswelle; Deathwave; Wave of Death.

Who can be sure? Wave of death and breath of death are both circle 6 runes. But Saturas says that at circle 5 you would be able to use "ripple of death". It is either a bad translation, an error by the PB guys in not creating a ripple of death rune while still leaving in remarks about it, or it's a rune we just haven't come across yet. Maybe it's a very rare rune. Something to look for in G3 hopefully.

Myth
Ripple: A small continuous movement, esp. on the surface of water.
A Ripple Effect is a spreading effect or a series of things which happen as the result of a certain action or event.
In case of Todeswelle, it can be seen as something rippling out from the caster. (spreading effect)
So it could be a simple case of different translation.

Firstly I thought that the Ripple of Death is Uriziel's Ring of Death, the rune you get after you become a Necromancer. But that requires 6th circle of magic. But so does the Wave of Death,it also requires 6th circle.
