That was so passive-aggressive that my monitor heated up. Ok, I guess I'll try a question that you would be able to answer without violating an NDA or something like that.
What is the logic behind the marketing strategy? What are the advantages of a complete silence, regarding even the name of the project? For the most recent Elex news, the new Piranha Bytes RPG, visit us at World of Elex!!!

I would indeed have plenty of questions for the people in charge of the communication and more specifically on the reasons to keep secret some information (costs, number of copies sold, ...)
-
The only logical explanation as to why they did not release sales is that it sold poorly, waaay beyond the 1 mil mark they hoped. If they claimed that mark, they could be up for fraud (lying to their investors to keep them), while if they stated the truth, they would scare said investors away.

Okey ,i get it. You are not allowed to tell us about your next game and you`re being watched. If you`re working on a Gothic prequel/sequel then misspell in a post the name of the first friend the hero meets in the colony

Could you give us an approximate date of when you will be able to give us an approximate date of when there will be any information available on the new project?

Is it really important if they are creating another Risen or Gothic?
What I keep thinking about is if we will ever see in any future PB game the following features: swimming and diving, climbing, the ability to drop items on the ground, a "menu" which will not cut you from the game, an optional keyboard-only controls... and you name all others features that made us love PB games.
I don't need an answer, I know it's about time and money, what the publishers want to invest in.
Anyway... I hope the Old Camp will open soon, I can't way to meet old friends there! It will have a forum, doesn't it?

Ok, I'll try a question that you might be able to answer.
Who is the project manager? Mike or Bjorn? Are they both having big roles in designing the game? For the most recent Elex news, the new Piranha Bytes RPG, visit us at World of Elex!!!

Well ,since we know nothing about the next project ,i might want to ask if the island of Khorinis has any history ,besides the books we find through G1 and G2.
The paintings on the wall ,the burried dudes from the graveyards have any connection to the island`s history or are just random stuff? There were some theories but i don`t recall any official answers ...
I know it`s a bit too late to ask stuff like that but it`s worth a shot .

I wonder if any particular real life locations served as inspirations for the town of Khorinis and the Harbour town in terms of geography, layout, architecture, etc.?
Incidentally, I've always had the feeling that the hearts and souls of the Piranhas lie with the mercenary factions, especially in Gothic 2 and Risen. Might there be any truth to that? Surely the "which faction would you have joined" discussion must have come up at one point or another.
Thanks for taking the time to address so many of our questions, definitely appreciate it."Das war's mit dir, du Mistvieh!"

Hi
I have two questions:
-Will your next game use DirectX 11 or DX 9 like Risen 2 ?
-Will this game have option for stereoscopic 3D playing (for example Side-by-Side or Over-Under) ?

Does PB have any plans for this year's Gamescom? I hear Deep Silver is going to make an appearance.
...PB is still with Deep Silver, right?Geändert von The Ore Baron (18.07.2013 um 17:33 Uhr)
