Dear ArcaniA & Gothic community,

I know you have waited since about a month for another piece of information but together with this post you get what you want. Attached you can find a brand new screenshot of ArcaniA showing a typical mage.

PS: On the left you can see some Goblin drums. For atmospheric purpose you can even use them as the hero in the game .

Additionally I have to tell you that unfortunately certain circumstances led to a delay with the new Cleaved Maiden story. Sorry for that.

If Beliar Robe is red i wonder if Innos Robe will be like.
I dont want this to sound bad but i've seen something like that robe, worn by the african tribes.I'm sorry but gothic wasn't supposed to be unique?I was expecting at something cooler,now even G3 robe looks nicer.
And just one picture on month?
Come on if someone were to make a preview of this game will be very bad.Is it supposed to be Gothic4,or another game?

Now we're talking, i've been waiting for a screenshot of a mage from the circle of fire for eons (wait a minute, that's a robe of priest of beliar , i thought red is the trademark of the priest of innos, does arcania uses a different robe color system, beliar got a recruitment post in the southern isle), hmm the robe rather different, less majestic than previous gothic , but oh well i can live with that. more screenshot please.

Tree's looks quite nice, and the forest around quite dense.
It's cool with some dense forests, that actually gets darker because of little light.
Anywas the tree's were good.

The robe is similar to those seen, but there's a couple concerns:
There should been a hood on it's back, disguising some of the "brown/gold" neck thingy.
It would also have been awesome to put this on or not.
It would automatically give the robe a darker and more atmospheric look.
Remember armors are not just a suit to look nice or just for protection. They can also have other practical apllications (hood for covering head, like when it rains etc), pouches etc.
This also makes them look more realistic.

Also you should try giving the robe more of a cloth look.
PB made the robe quite well in Risen. It's not dazzling or anything, but it has a very nice cloth look.

Notice the band of cloth around the chest and high part of the back uses the clock-pattern [or whatever that instrument was] from the promo trailer.

Nope,simply because Arcania is G4 while Risen is a totally new game

it's wonderfull!! the grafics is the best i ever seen, it is so realistic! But till there is a feeling of looking at a two worlds pic. though i hope it won't be that sort of atmosphear in the game
plz make the beliar armor more black and scary and it will be just perfect(with a top on each shoulder like xardas armor in g2)

mayby i should be more exact. i have never in my life seen this good grafics in a game were u can travel around in the world free without any obstacles that prevent u from exploring. souch games is as an example modern warfare. in that game it's courses until the end. it isen't open and the others are those who only got one way that u can follow til u finish it.
