Guys,
I am starting doing new head textures from photographs. I do not have too much time on my hands, and I would be happy to skip doing my own head UVs for gothic heads models. Does anybody have UVs in png or any other photoshop-readable format?

I would say it has something to do with this:

They are something like 3D wireframes mapped onto 2D. They look like bunch of interconnected lines tracing significant features of a head. May be there are other techniques of texturing, but I use these UVs as masks - as a layer in photoshop (I did some organic head modeling before). Then I copy and paste parts of the reference photos and distort them a bit to fit a mask. It gives a photo texture that fits a head model pefectly (well, it depends on an artist). There are seweral head models in Gothic (nice, allows to fit to different head types). It would be nice to post UV masks on-line, then practically every modder will be able to make NPCs any faces he likes (his own, US President, or whatever). It is really easy to do.

Thank you. I'll try to export them. I guess they do not exist as just a set of image files. In this case I'll make a set of masks for gothic head meshes in png format and post them for the community, along with links to some very good tutorials on face texture painting.
