Yeah, Risen is the only game in the world where you dig for treasures.

It's not like you can dig stuff in Gothic 2 Notr. Or in Fable. Or in Venettica.

You know, just saying. It wouldn't be copying from Risen if Arcania wasn't the sequel to gothic 3, which was the sequel of gothic 2 notr where you can dig things up. But I guess copying your previous works = copying Risen.

I don't know about gothic 3. The game is cursed, it NEVER runs of any of my computers(I have 2 atm, fully capable of supporting the game on maxed out settings). I couldn't play it for even a minute. Which is sad.

Nah the digging idea is fun. Gives you some boost in the beginning of the game, or later on when you need gold for some good armor/weapons. I like that feature.
It had a good impact on Risen and g2NotR. I'm glad they decided to add it in Arcania as well.

Wait, was that Lester in one of those screenshots? Man, he's so fat!!! I didn't really pay much of attention to the ending of the demo, I just wanted to see the King.

And holy shit are those blood-flies huge. God damn, they were always hard in the beginning of gothic 1 but this looks ridiculous!
