Create a tavern sign for this board!

Now we have a tavern, some tankards and a few kegs of beer and rum. But what we still need is a sign at the door.

Something like these real-life examples:

So, it's time for a little contest. Your task: Create a sign for our newly established Pirate's Pawned Pegleg Pub (P4) and post it in this thread.

A jury from the WoR will decide on the best submission which will become the "official" tavern sign for the OT forum. Besides the tremendous amount of fame and worship which come with that, the winner also gets to choose his or her forum rank for three months. Additionally, you will receive a set of 22 portrait cards, drawn after photos by Arthus of Kap Dun from the Piranha Fanart Portal. Each card depicts one Piranha and is hand-signed by the Piranha it shows.


These are the ground rules:

• The sign should of course look good.
• It should have a connection to the pub's name.
• Bitmap and vector art are both welcome. If you use bitmaps, make sure to have a high enough resolution (we can always scale down but upscaling will produce artifacts). If you use vector graphics, try to make it look real. You can also submit renderings of 3D models, if you like.
• Upload the files to the WoP-Upload and link them here (please don't post the pics themselves for loading time issues). But don't forget to post a small thumbnail/preview, too.
• You can submit as many artworks as you like.
• Your art must, of course, be free of other's work. It must be your own creation, not just some pics from Google photoshopped together or something like that. By submitting, you declare to have the full and sole authorship over the submission.
• By submitting, you grant the World of Risen a non-revocable, royalty-free usage right for your creation. We may use it in the forum, on the website or in other media related to our fansite. Credit will be given in this thread but not necessarily in other uses.
• This thread is for submissions and official declarations only. If you want to discuss about a submission or the contest itself, please use the separate discussion thread.

This will probably be my last submission, couldn't find any decent free fishnet wharf type models and couldn't get any fishnet textures to look right in Photoshop due to stupidity, so there you are.

Alright, since I finished ME2 and saw TW2 in action and it's not my style, I'm kinda in-between games and bored shitless. So I made another sign to waste some time, tried an older style like you might see back then, sort of like Maladiq's. I didn't try to copy his work, but after a lot of trial and error, it's sorta how it came out at the end.
