[TWEAK] Disable Sun Reflection
For those who can't stand the warm sun of Varant i've created this mod
Just kidding, actually it's a tweak that stops (disables) sun lens flares. A lot of times, especially in battles, it’s annoying to see the sun reflection instead of you enemies. This tweak does not delete the sun, only the lens flares. Here are some screenshots
BEFORE:

AFTER:

DOWNLOAD
Here is another Tweak which deletes the sun too (and the sun reflection of course)
Some screenshots:

DOWNLOAD
How to install: G3Starter by Rockfest needed to play the mod. Just extract the zip file you have downloaded, into the modifications folder (in GothicIII \Modifications\...)To run it, start G3 Starter find the no sun reflection, and click on the box next to it. Then run the game.Enjoy

i think i've only seen that sun effect once, but it can't be too bad in combat. Just back up or button mash.
But good work anyways

Maybe you just prefer to run around at night?!
Imho this tweak is an enrichment for the game, good job Lazor! ... You wrote you didn't disabled the sun, with your tweak when i look into the sun there is still that disc in the sky, which looks kinda ugly.
My question:
Have you already tried to disable that "disc" too? And if so, does it influence the lightning in the game?

Actually this "last" disc is the sun! If you want i can disable it too (but then you won't have any sun). I have tried to change this disc with a better texture of the sun but it was a failure, although i keep up the experiments

It's your project, do like you want to and how you think it's looking the best,... but if you want to,... yepp, i would like to see how it looks without that last disc called "sun".

Hey,... cool! Mr. sunblocker, great work!
I would suggest to make a new file for it, so everyone can test both types of the sunblocker and can choose whatever one likes more.

Mmmhhh,... seems there is something wrong, when i choose the "no sun at all" tweak (of course deselected the other no sun tweak) i have the normal sun with reflections.
Edit:

Because even the g2-sun looks better than that simple "disk".

Ok i have updated the no sun version (now it should work properly) but i don't have enough time right now to test it. As far for the G2 sun in G3 it's not a bad idea.

Finaly! Great tweak. No more lens-effect behind walls, mountains or anything! Thanks!
