This Mod is also available in the Risen Mod Starter online Database
The new songs are in general surprisingly well fitting - good job! :)
There's one exception: In my opinion the music right at the beginning makes one feel like experiencing a showdown, which is kind of... hilarious with all these 'young stingrats' etc.

Thank you :)
Yeah I agree. It's hard to find a song for the Startlocation, cause you need a song which is first agressive ( ur ship was atacked etc ) and then slowly cooldown. But I'll keep looking for a new one and update it later. Gonna update it anyways, IMO the Monastery songs are to quiet.

Any chance of uploading these as a normal zip file so we can play each music file individually? I'm not at my computer that has Risen installed, but would love to listen to these. In addition to this, it's pretty possible that some players maybe want to use some of your music and keep some of the original music. Thanks for creating/uploading the music regardless! :D It's always good to see community input.

No sorry I can't upload them. But you can unpack sounds.p0x with the Risen Mod Starter and then convert the xsnd files to MP3. But remember, everything is pretty low quality because I tried to save as much space as possible.

Yeah, I thought 42mb was rather small for the number of music tracks. Do you really think players are that worried about size? I would think that players would want higher/better quality tracks instead. I know that I would much rather have that.
Plus... if you don't have Risen installed, the mod starter will not work. Thus, I cannot unpack them. :-/

Nah it's okay. Ingame you won't notice any difference between 128kbs and 720kbs quality, I tested it. Also uploading 300-400mb isnt that much fun:D and I guess the Risen Mod Starter guys also rather to upload 40mb instead of 300-400;)

I agree with you that anything over 320kbs is excessive. I've found 128kbs to be just slightly less quality than necessary for good sound. 192 or 224 is where it's at. Oh well, I'll just wait till I get home to unpack these. Thanks again!

Your'e welcome;)
Yeah like I said, you won't notice any difference ingame. I tested it for several hours. So i decided 128kbs:gratz

Is there any way to here the new music while not being ingame? :)
Is there any way to here the new music while not being ingame? :)Here (http://forum.worldofplayers.de/forum/showthread.php?t=873165) is a (incomplete) list of modding tools for Risen.
Use Risenaut to unpack sounds.p0x (~44MByte) and then Risenmp3 to covert from ._xsnd to .mp3 format.

Thank you very much.
Edit: At the time I listin to your new music and I have to say that you did a really nice job. But might it be possible that the files for gyrger_day_explore and holyfire_day_explore as well as dungeonruins_day_explore and dungeoncaves_day_explore are the same? :p
Edit2: Where is your dungeonruins_day_explore/dungeoncaves_day_explore sound from? It seems oddly familiar to me...
