help! G1- New Camp/Lvl5 needed

emm, i have an problem with gothic 1 , ive just installed it to play with another camp ,when i had chance to go by mercinarie in new camp , Li is tellin me that i need 5 level , now ive got 15 lvl but he is still tellin that. §gnah §cry §burn :mad:
Did you had this problem and if had how you solved it?
How i can be a baron in G1 ?
P.S. im sorry if i wrote character names incorrect i got russian versioan of game..

you can't be baron
did you joined thieves first? maybe you need do some quests, i think i had something like that and i just needed do some quests and after that i become merc, dunno why he's telling about level, probably it's a bug

First...it's Lares who said that you need lv 5 and if you want to join the mercs you have to "betray" the old camp. That means that you have to give Ian's list to him. If you gave it to Diego than I'm afraid that you can't join the mercs. This is not a bug...you meet all the conditions but you didn't betrayed the old camp and PB didn't want to make it too obvious what to do.

In order to get into the guild, you must be lv5 AND you must solve a minimum of 3 from this 5 quests:

- bring Mordrags ring to Lares
- bring the list from the old camp to Lares
- bring the modified list from the old camp to Lares
- use "friendly"-magic on Roscoe
- Get weed-sticks from Baal Kagan and bring it to the bandits

Actually werner it's 3 out of 4 and here is the order. If you don't do this in the same order you can't join them(except for the last two). To be more exact if you talk with with Roscoe and enter and if you gived the list to diego it's impossible to join the mercs. Seeing that he already saw Lares he doesn't have a chance on joining the mercs.
- charm Roscoe
- Mordrag's ring
- Ian's list - Baal Isidro's weed (400 ore).

Ps : @pettyamaster : you have to use the charm spell on roscoe and lester will be impressed for passing without roscoe noticing.

I can't remember if you receive any Xp for that. I think you receive some when you talk with Lares but I'm not sure.

PS : didn't you said that you don't need a database? It's all in your mind? :p

Which version of Gothic do you play, version number is shown in the gothic-start-menu, something like "1.08j" ?

Did you brought the unmodifyed list to Diego (from this point on you cannot join new camp anymore i think)?!

if you are at more than level 5 and do alll things( Ians list, Morgans ring, 400ore, and make Roskoe friedly) and it doesn't go... whitch patch you are?

in the german version you need 1.8k. then it should work....
