I was reading in the "should women be in g3 "poll and i started to ask myself. Will the hero have a girlfriend, or maybe even a wife? I think that at the end of g3 he will settle down at a home.
Dunno,but if the hero would have a gf(or a wife),we couldn't go on with the story--->No G4.So I think that the hero's only love should be his sword!

But who said anything about g4? :confused: every one knows that it won't be a g4. Almost everyone.

Now that just changed my plans for the future....thanks for the info...then hope is not yet lost.. :D
maybe a woman, with wich he can get along very well, and finally settle down to a house...and G4.....I think not...but no one knows, not even PB for sure that they are gonna make it , so for now let's wait for G3.

But if you would chose one of the women wich already been in gothic wich one will it be?
@Offtopic : But M Hodge said that there will be g4 acording to deathwalker...what do you say about this?
women aint nothing but trouble, if the hero had a gf then she would probably get kidnapped, slain, fertilized by a dragon, turned to the dark side or something like that. :)

After all, he does need a break...i think that is enough what he did and do in g1,2,3 + notr.

in another interview they said that maybe they will make G4
so i think hero can marry some woman and live in peace with her, another way is - he dies but i really don't want that

So if there's gonna be a g4 then it won't be with the hero...i think it's normal, because as i said before, good things end at 3.
And I think that the heroo will survive.......

Where did you read this??? This would be a new fact for me, cause in every other interview they said, they donīt know what they do after G3.
When you post such things, please post a link to the interview, otherwise i donīt believe this.
Why should they announce G4 right now?
in another interview they said that maybe they will make G4
MAYBE, thats the word! PBs said, MAYBE they make a G4 after G3, or a AddOn, or a different game,... as someone ask, KaiRo donīt said clearly no to a multiplayer game...so even this is possible,... they donīt know what they do after G3 i think!

As always werner makes us things clear. I'm really curios on founding out where did PB said about g4.
And about the love-story, well....it's kind of sad. The hero doesn't deserve lonelines...
hmm... i think if he could marrie some body, it shall not change the g3 storie ,if it will change,but for a little , like in game "fable" or in " san andreas" . ;) :)

He don't have to settle down when he is married...
And if needed, the wife can be killed in "misterious circumstances" ;)
But please this is not a GTA San Andreas, just imagine, when there is a chance of khm contacting with women, there will be lots of mods containing this "contact" (like in SA), and it's bad for Gothic. I think.

I was trying to say that in this thread that the hero deserves a nice and quiet life after all he did. At the end of g3 in a FMV or something he should kiss with a girl meaning that he could start a new life(a normal one).
I don't see hero having a wife...^^ maybe a nice party in red lantern but thats it for him...nothing more...^^
and then how will G6 take place if not with the nephew of the hero..:p

girlFriend would be great And a son i would train him in swordFighting....but i will have no time for the KING and the ORCS then...u know at Day with the son at night with the girl
The history teaches us that heroes doesnt have or think of home or familly:D

He could have a time of peace after g3,... and ihmo it would be good if a g4 would start let's say 10 years later, that would be enough time of peace for him!

It's in the gothic-world so they don't must make it like a reallife wedding, it could be like that a high mage of Innos just ask them if they are willing to marry they should say, "i swear in the name of Innos my eternal love to my spouse" ... and then to proof it (as a sysmbol) both could lit a candle or something.

Who knows, maybe in G3 the hero's name will be revealed.
The hereo deserves some rest afterall. Maybe at the end it will show a cutscene with the hereo getting marryed.

I hope that PB will not give the hero a wife or a girl friend, but if they do I hope they woun't do something as lame as making his wife getting murdered by someone, and then motivating his entire quest with revenge. This is one of the biggest cliches of all times in movies, and I hate it.
And a wife or gf would not be ok because the hero is always on the move. He has no time to stop and enjoy personal time with his wife/gf.

Actually in G1, at first I taught there is some quest related to the girl who was thrown into the barrier before...If yoy think about it, there could have been a quest: going to Gomez and pay for the girl, or save her...soemthing like that, and the hero could have bring her into new camp in his hut, or in swamp and visit her from time to time etc... In G2, hero might have Nadja as a gf...don't you think...going time to time at red lantern, and after some time they start talking about things and decide to be togheter, and he could have even brought her to mainland...There are alot of ways to make a gf for the hero, without stoping the hero to make his quests ;)

LOL. It would be funny if Nadja came to the mainland and told the hero that she is pregnant, and that she bears his child. And the hero would have to babysit while Nadja is off shopping...LOL this would turn something like Married with Children:D

I prefer the hero gets a gf at the end on the game:" They lived happily ever after" etc.
A gf while he's saving/destroying the mainland will slow him down.

It could be so as you could sleep in G2 if you paied some money.
IF it is possible then it would be but in soft stade because there still are youth to prodect

In Gothic a wife/gf is like chain and steel ball how is he going to to destroy/save the mainland(500> people) when he has to make sure that his 1 wife/gf isn't cheating on him.I belive that his gf=mana drink ,wife=ring of death and his mistress=shrink monster. Now he has what to drink,what to do with his free time,little ones to play with.(meatbugs+shrink monster=flees,so be carefull)
