To early to do Disk quests?

I'm level 9.

i got 68 Strenght
And battle axe.
helmet.
And Don's warrior Armor

Is it to early to do the quests where i need to find the disk's?

i've got another lvl 9 Char, who i screwed up abit, tried to do the quests but got owned.

Problem is. Right now i really don't got meny quests left in Harbor town (none in Don's camp or the monostary)
What should i do? go grind mobs or what? or go for the Disks?

Do whatever you want.
If you find that enemies are too tough, then go explore and get experience.
Too give you an indication, I was around level 20 when i finished the quest of the golden crystal discs.
