Tach auch,

seit neuestem nervt mich bei Knights of the old Republic ein dämliches Ruckeln. Das tritt meistens auf, sobald ich ein neues Gebiet betrete oder mich relativ lange in einem aufhalte. Nun lässt sich das Geratter zwar leicht wieder zur Hölle jagen, indem ich einfach irgendeine Grafikeinstellung verändere (is total rillle was und wohin, ich kann das Antialising zB. auch HOCHstellen, meine Rechnerleistung hat damit überhaupt nix zu tun) oder mit Alt-Tab in ein anderes Programm, meistens den Taskmanager, und wieder zurück wechsele. Aber das geht mir langsam schon auf den Sack

Hilfe wär echt toll^^

Treiber usw. sind aktuell? Wie viel RAM hast du? Stell AA mal konsequent aus, bzw. niedrig - selbst auf heutigen HighEnd - Karten ruckelt das Spiel zum Teil...

Ich hab das selbe Problem - direkt nach dem laden/starten des Spiels treten recht starke Ruckler auf und lassen sich überraschender Weise durch änderung der Grafikeinstellung beheben - aber nur bis zum nächsten Gebietswechsel - also keine Lösung :(

Ich habe schon die neuesten Treiber installiert, den InGame-VertexBuffer ausgeschaltet und zu guter letzt mal die Auslagerungsdatei auf ne andere Platte geschoben. :dnuhr:

Es ist auch egal welche Spiel-Konfiguration ich benutze - egal ob alles ausgeschaltet/niedrig oder alles an/hoch - immer das selbe - nur die Optik ändert sich - nach dem ändern der InGameGrafik-Einstellungen egal ob höher oder nieriger ist nicht ein Ruckler zu sehen - auch in "rechenintensieveren" Regionen wie den Cantinas und den den Freiluftregionen in der Upper City (ohne das jetzt nachgeprüft zu haben würde ich von "glatten" 60fps ausgehen - es läuft danach... einfach Perfekt :eek: )

Hast du bereits den neusten Patch installiert, 1.03 (http://www.worldoftheoldrepublic.de/?go=dlfile&fileid=3)? Ansonsten fällt mir spontan nur ein, dass du mal versuchen kannst, V-Sync zu aktivieren. Treiber und System erscheinen mir ausreichend. Du hast ja auch bereist versucht, den Vertex-Buffer mittels des Eintrags Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1 in der swkotor.ini zu deaktivieren, oder? Dies beseitigt das Problem nämlich bei fast allen Leuten, die unter massivem ruckeln leiden mussten.

Hallo §wink und danke für die schnelle Antwort!

"Leider" hatte ich schon auf 1.03 ge-updated, den Crack wieder Rückgängig gemacht, neu installiert, den VertexBuffer in der .ini deaktiviert und auch mit und ohne VSync ausprobiert - alles mit dem selben Ergebniss.
Im Taskmanager ist mir aufgefallen das swkotor.exe bei laufendem Spiel nur knapp 30MB geansprucht, was nach meinem Verständniss eigendlich etwas zu gering ausfällt...
Ich werde Morgen Nachmittag auch mal durchprobieren ob bei anderen Werten für "Maximale Anzahl der vorgerenderten Einzelbilder" irgendwas rauskommt.

Kotor2 lief ohne Probleme - allerdings hatte ich da noch eine GF 5200FX ;)

OK - bei mir hat sich das Problem in Dummheit aufgelöst - hab schlichtweg den "Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1"-Befehl falsch aus nem Forum übernommen, da fehlten die Lehrstellen :rolleyes:
...manchmal ist alles einfacher als man denkt!
Endlich läuft es wie Sahne - möge die Macht... und so
