I don't think it would run G3 smoothly because of the following reason
1. it uses sempron processor running at 1,9 GHz, to get a better performance for G3 and G4 in the future you better equip yourself with an Athlon X2 4000+ at least
2. it only have 1 GB ram, G3 is a greedy game for memory, you'd better equip yourself with at least 2 GB ram
3. the vga is an onboard nvidia 8100, on board can't do sh**, i know because i'm using onboard radeon x1200 myself

I'd say better buy a motherboard without any complimentary peripheral in it's package and buy the rest of the hardware separately, because in my opinion it's better to save money a little longer and bigger and get a good performance and quality out of it, than buying a cheap one now and crying in the future because it can't play G4, and i'm quite sure that G4 will demand a greater hardware than G3.
But the decision is all your's, beside that motherboard can still be expanded, for example you can

1. buy a more powerful processor later because that motherboard support phenom
2. you can install 2 ddr 2 up to 4 GB (windows xp limitation)
3. you can buy a powerful VGA and put it in the PCI-E slot

well that's all from me, hope it help you in some way.:)
