Turned into a snapper and had a wander through this cave, saw a multitude of beasts and undead there. Seems like a lot of effort to get though for god knows what. What's in there? Is it worth trading in some of my 150 LP's on my level 35 character to get beefed up for an easier time?

As far as I remember there's no quest related to it, just a cave full of snakes and monsters and lots of looting to do, it worths exploring it, it's a nice sight and the money and exp you get in there could always come in handy.

This cave isn't important for any quests.
But you can get a lot of exp there, because there are many enemies.
And in this cave is also a warrior and a mage chest.

Apart from that aren't there any important things.

It's strange though, a cave with enough beast to occupy a city but no quest related to it, the first time i get into this cave is when a troll send me flying straight inside.

I was a bit disappointed to that cave. After all that killing IMHO there was not that much to have. But you surely get lots of experience.

Thanks for the info! Can never have enough XP and since I just realised there's no level cap, I suppose I can now spend all those LP's and be a bit tougher for those beasts. Miss the hard cap of the first two in a way as it forces you to specialise, but without guilds there's no point to limit you I guess.

If you talk about G3, yes, nothing special. In FG however, the main quest will lead you there at some point.

well you don`t need to get all that 'beefed up'

i managed to kill the beasts inside with just 200 cb bolts and a 120 dmg cb (if i remember right i bought it from the hashishin merchnt in cape dun)

when i was in that area i had around ~150 str at the time(the only other stat that i buffed a little was smithing) and it was fairly easy if you know your kiting...

i am, however, inclined to believe that the kiting would`ve taken a lot less time using bows, but since i was going for a warrior-type build, i figured i should train cb`s since they req str instead of hunting skill
