FG-doesen't starts

After I installed FG, and inserted the code every time I want to start the game the G3FG window apeares and then black screen and back to my dekstop.
I have all the needed requirments to play but it won't start.
Could you help me?

Yeah, I installed the game and patches in the correct way.

Really I don't know whats up with G3 and FG. I'm a real fanatic of Gothic, all I want for Christam is to play G3.§cry

Does that mean you've downloaded the game, since it asks for a serial or something? Maybe it's already patched?

Do you have the latest drivers for video card/audio/processor?

I've bought the game, I gave the money to the seller and he gave me the box with the DVD in it.
Oh just leave me here without Gothic, my dream is destroyed for ever.:(

I didn't know that the box version asks for a serial number or any other 'code'. :dnuhr:
