hi, I never done any of this stuff before...
So I went to g3-modding.tk now and followed tutorial.
Here is my first problem: I dont understand how I can copy files from "Gothic III - Pak Viewer" I opened _compiledImage.pak and I can see list of ximgs there but I cant do anything to them if I press left click I dont get any copy options or I cant drag em , they just show there but I cant do anything. Maybe attleast Larisa here could help me out?
"Step 3 : Press "extract dir"" I dont have that kind of option anywhere
*edit* had other problem but figured it out allready
I'll try to explain it a little.
G3 .pak files are containers for other files (the same idea as, e.g. zip or rar files)
In order to modify the files, you need to extract them first from the *.pak files.
Here comes Gothic III - Pak Viewer. File -> Open and here navigate to the folder where G3 is installed. Enter the \Data folder. Select a .pak file and open it.
Now the tool should show some folders in the left pane and some files in the right pane (if you select a folder).
The 3 buttons from down below (Extract All, Extract Dir, Extract Selected) do basically the same thing, but with the following difference: Extract All will extract the whole contents of the .pak file, Extract Dir will extract the whole folder that is currently selected in the left pane, Extract Selected will extract the selected file/files. If you don't play with the ... button above the Extract Selected button, the files will be extracted to where the G3 - Pak Viewer resides.
When you extract files, the folder structure will also be created.
Now, what kind of G3 pak viewer do you have?
Try the one from here:

When you open a pak file it should look like this:

ok here is my problem... I dont have any of those buttoms bottom of my program.
http://img181.imageshack.us/img181/5495/problemyf4.jpg Here is screen...
As you can see it hides those buttons and I dont know how to get em on.. I use 1360x768 resolution.
So what should I do now?
*edit* ye I had same one that you gave link to .. but I tried also to download it again from your link but result is same.

Looks like you use a wide screen resolution. Try changing it to a higher one (something that has more than 768px on the vertical axis) or to a 4:3 aspect ratio resolution (1024x768, etc.) but this will probably look weird on your monitor (or it won't work at all).

Can't you just resize that window? It looks like you have it maximized. Make it smaller and use the scrollbars.
1024x768 had still same problem.. :
Really? Because I have this resolution and it's perfectly visible.
And like Negative said, restore the window and and make it smaller by dragging it's margins.

belive me , I tried everything. No matter what size window I make , its the same it keeps hiding buttons from me. I can take more screen shots if you want, and I dont see anyway to scroll up anything there. I can move bottom bar barely even its half way hidden, thats about it.

*Edit* Even I drag window smaller or bigger it still doesnt reveal anymore than that.

This is an alternative tool:
http://tesoblivion.de/Downloads/Gothic3/Tools/G3Explorer.7z
It has the extract options in the menu-bar at the top. Well, it's german, here is what to do:
Datei -> Öffnen -> Choose the pak -> Öffnen -> in the menu at the top choose "Entpacken" -> "Verzeichnis Entpacken" -> Choose the destination folder and hit "OK".
Or the Pak Worker (http://upload.worldofplayers.de/upload.cgi?a=show&file=6e4c506d434c6f4a374f4e425975317137473350414b576f726b65722e726172&big=1)
Change the language from File - Languages from Russian to English.
