What about encryption key?

What about encryption key?
I guess it should be no problem for you to find the 32 character string inside the Risen 2 Beta executable.

If the encryption is not changed in the retail version, I'll integrate the key in Risenaut.
For now I don't want to risk violating the NDA of the Risen 2 Beta, sorry.

Notes for Xbox 360 users:

The PAKs in the Risen Title Update #1 (TU_15KQ1UO_000000C000000.0000000000083) contain additional bytes after the entry table. Because this is always a Windows line break (\r\n), it might be interpreted as comment. Risenaut will not be updated, because the warning (Unexpected Volume offset) can be safely ignored.

If you try to create new (modified) PAK volumes you might have to update the preload bundles (data/compiled/preload/*.bundle), because they contain data offsets, (compressed) data sizes, and (uncompressed) file sizes. The basic format is documented in http://www.bendlins.de/nico/risen/r1bundle.txt. Currently I do not plan to provided tools to create and/or update preload bundles.

The PAKs in the Risen 2 retail version are not encrypted.
Therefore you can use the current version of Risenaut to extract them.

EDIT:
Die Rede ist von R2.

._xdlgI'll document them as soon as I have some spare time.
Meanwhile you can search for the RIFF header and cut the WAVE file out (the file size is the 32-bit word before the header).
