I am seing many good and interesting Gothic 2 - NotR mods. But I cant really enjoy them because they are in german.

What program do I need to load the mod's subtitles and edit them. then save them again into the mod!?

I just wanna say, it´s important that you first ask the Modders of the Modification if you are allowed to do a translation,... that´s somehow the good tone, the right way to do it.
About your question, i think some modders can explain you. :)

It's the polite way and most probably the easiest way. If you approach the programmers themselves, you might get help in translating the modification as well.

Mods usually are a friendly bunch and love feedback from their work. If they see their mod is appreciated elsewhere, they will be thrilled. :D
