and try by yourself if you are kiled try again
Do you play GII or NOTR you have to say that so that we can give recomandation
If you are playing GII alone than is not very hard if you know how to fight, if playing NOTR I would sugest for you the other quest with colecting debt ;)
I would say, your chances are very bad. You should train a lot.
If you have the AddOn, too, then you should talk to Lee and to Cord. He can help you to succeed this quest.
If you can block very, very well, then you can try it, but I don't believe that.

i have found another solution - i shot some arrows at the guys, and run into a pond full of monsters, ran out of it and they were killed. unexpected allies eh eh eh.

Good job!
I know, I'm late - but you just affirmed the advice I would have given you: if you are outgunned, you have to outsmart them. The same applies for future battles, where the odds are not in your favour.

I think he plays NotR...
Since he specifically mentions having 22 str and the wolf tooth sword, which requires 22 str in the addon.
And he mentions having 20 dex as well as the willow bows, which requires 20 dex.

See that:
First:Train at the level of fighter (the merc are really tough you will need it)
Second:Become apprentice of the blacksmith(if you haven't already sign with someone else)the sword you will learn to create is very good at this level (needs 20str-damage30)
Then you will be really tough to become merc you will need to beat a lot of guys;)

The only one you can easily beat is Rod...
Just say you're strong enough to have him hand over your sword, then refuse to give it back. xD

After a few tries, I succeded in killing them, even the first try. Anyway, this thread is solved.
The order in which you take them out is confusing. The trick is: try not to take them out in a specific order, try to run around them and block their attacks, and when they turn their backsides at you, try to unleash a combination attack. This tactic aplies to many of the strongest enemies, but not for the dragons (sorry for spoiler).
When you fight Sylvio and Bullco at the end of chapter 4, this tactic is useful, but you should be too strong to need this strategy anymore.

nevertheless the title should be NOTR: win two ...
not everybody remember how much strenght wolf tooth requires in addon and how much in only GII
above all Werner set this rule about puting title when opening new help thread ;)

Well, this rule was to be exactly for technical help, but you are right, everyone should try to write with what game he/she needs help, that makes it easier to give help!
That´s why i asked this once before: (@ johnnybravo1: )
BTW.: WHAT DO YOU PLAY??? G2 - classic or with NotR?
This question was asked before to you, and it would be really helpful if you name further question-threads with "G2" or with "NotR" in the thread title!

Sorry, I can't help it that I remember useless stuff.
Though it does make life more fun imo.

Well if you are rokie you cannot unleash a combination attack:)
You need to be at the fighter level;)
